Center Street Fish Market

This was my first time visiting and I will say the cashier Keisha was awesome. The prices are extremely high for the amount of food you receive. I ordered a 4 pc catfish filet and received one piece of catfish cut into four pieces that are super thin . We got burgers too. I had to stop to get food because I’m still hungry after spending $16 bucks on this fish. Taste is a 7 out of 10.

I truly do not care for the customer service here. I don’t know if the older woman was a manager or what, but I’m still trying to make sense as to how a simple pick up order led to a verbal confrontation. From what I could gather, you screwed up another man’s order, didn’t confront him, but snapped about lines and order systems-to me! As paying customers, we deserve more than bitter attitude. But…support black business though, right?

Order a burger plate and received a time to pick it up and I was on time 4 people ahead of me and when I receive my order the fries were ice cold and the Owner Shelia was very rude saying in a mean way like I’m a kid, “ I’m get you these fries one time only that I should have been on time “which I was. I would never spend another dime at her place. Shelia you need to go to a Business class so you know how to take care of good customer’s.

Hello WORLD I'm here to tell u CENTER ST FISH MARKET is the only place left in town that cook like at home and taste like home. I'm there almost every day. I wish they were open on Sunday.. always linda howell..... love you Sabrina

Ive patronized this establishment for years & even have shared the good food items I’ve tasted since new ownership. It’s sad that I have to give such a report about how AWE-FULLY DISTASTEFUL their HOSPITALITY is EVERY-TIME I’ve visited them. I thought it was me‼Infact the last time I patronized them, i spent over $100 in 1 setting hospitality was BAD / NEGATIVE that day. There was only 1 lady working who MESSED up orders & when brought to their attention, there was NO COMPASSION. That was the day I said NO MORE will they get my biz. TODAY, some women from my church wanted their food. Altho I didn’t, I kept QUIET about my experiences THINKIN it was PROBABLY ME TRIPPIN. But when I tell you the OWNER attitude was HORRIBLE. So bad that THEY SAID…. LETS GO. I DONT know the owner or any of the staff. I pray GOD CHANGE their heart, attitude ESPECIALLY if they expect their business to be successful. I see why the other staff demeanor was like it was……. It’s a reflection of the owner…. You can have thee best food yet service is HORRIBLE. HOSPITALITY is KEY to BUILDING an SUCCESSFUL BRAND OR BUSINESS‼. Hoping y’all’s better in a community that could stand to see some LIGHT

Since when is it ok for anyone working in a customer service oriented establishment to refer to customers as if they disrespect them for showing up an hour and 45 minutes before they close. I guess whoever the lady is at the register doesn't comprehend that other people work as well. Illiterate mess making it hard to support a black owned business. As old as she is she should be ashamed of herself.

I only give this place 3 stars because they have not had fresh seafood in a while. Which is disappointing. The cooked food is always good, but miss that availability of buying fresh seafood in this area.

Haven't been to this place in a while remember it as a Old Shell station got the hamburger platter service was kind of slow but the burgers were good thumbs up to them

Staple in my community. My granny loves fish on Fridays and they never disappoint. Food is so good I forgot to take a picture

My first time at this business. I've been past it many times A friend and I wanted fish for lunch and decided to stop. I'm glad we did. I had the catfish. You can have your fish regular or fried hard. It was coated with corn meal and flavorful, tender and moist. I will be back.
