Welcome to the online home of Central Baptist Church. Central Baptist Church is a dynamic, multi-cultural church in the bustling Upper Westside of Manhattan. Central Baptist Church is an oasis in the city; we are "The Friendliest Church in New York” because Central Baptist welcomes all people regardless of race, national origin, or socio-economic status. Central Baptist is home to Wall Street executives and local grocery store clerks; to committed married couples and to strong independent singles; all of whom are united in a common goal to see Christ exalted in their lives.

We are a people who try to live out the Bible and the teachings of Christ in everything that we do: we are Bible-teaching, Bible-believing, and God-glorifying. Our desire at Central Baptist Church is to become a caring, learning, praying, culturally diverse community of dedicated and joyful believers of Jesus Christ who proclaim His word truthfully, worship Him genuinely, and share His love passionately with each other and our neighbors here and throughout the world.
