Excellent Service, food was just the way ordered and tasted great. Place is very nice and the music just right. Not a big place but good for in and out lunch or dinner. Location was easy to find, they're right there on the corner of the plaza.
If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant Chano's offers the best of both worlds. Authentic and Tex-mex under the same roof. $$-$$$. It's worth every penny. Don't be fooled by the size of the margarita there is definitely alcohol in that drink!!! And that's the small.
Went in after ordering 2 entrees, one of which was Hawaiian fajitas, Bite squad and their menu said it was $12, but when I went in, they charged $15 for it. Apparently, according to the manager/ owner everyone in little rock also charges a to go fee, so she charged us $1 for that. We thought we were making a $24-25 order, but they decide it was their right to hike the total 20% more. When I brought to their attention that bite squad and their menu said $12, they were adamant that I was wrong. I have been living in LR for 8 years, and eat out multiple times a week when I'm busy, to date this is the first time I was charged a to go fee for picking up food. I got my refund, but thought others should be warned. Also their food a solid 3/5, won't be going back.
I am giving 5 stars! The food is delicious. The drinks are superb. The ambience is relaxing. The staff is attentive but not nagging. I love Chano's!
Great food! Service was a little slow at first but the Bowman Burrito was wonderful. A nice change from what I would consider a traditional Mexican restaurant burrito.
The food was delicious with good portion sizes and there was a cool looking guy painted on the bathroom door.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience AND the food! Friendly staff. Brightly colored environment without being overwhelming. Music wasn't too loud and the high back booths gave us a sense of privacy. The lunch menu had plenty of choices for a reasonable price. Food was hot and delicious!
Great new family owned and run restaurant! Good service, good food. Try the Pina Vallarta, it was amazing!!
Notably quiet around lunch. Cheap prices make for a good daily lunch spot. Paper napkins, clean tables. The service was excellent and I was never left wanting. I felt it was a friendly atmosphere because of the server. Presentation of the food was well done. Booths are comfortable and the chairs and tables are well decorated. Food was of a good portion for the price. My main meal, the dorotos tacos, had varying quality between each taco, but nothing was bad, and was overall decent and of a good portion. Salsa was forgettable. Overall, a good experience. I'd reccomend it.
They have an interesting menu, there is an authentic section and Tex Mex section. Ordered the carnitas, which were slow cooked to perfection. The chips and salsa were fantastic, i love their salsa! Happy hour every day from 5-7, with 1.99 bottles, which is also nice. Only downside is the chicken tortilla soup was almost room temp, but it still tasted great. Definitely worth stopping in.
