Background and Education
Daniel grew up in South Jordan, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. He began studying violin at a very young age. When it came time to seek a post high school education Daniel attended the University of Utah School of Music where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in music. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree, Daniel attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he served on the J. Reuben Clark Law Society board, staff editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy, and a member of the Spanish Speaking Lawyers Association. During law school Daniel interned in the courtroom of the Honorable Morris Hoffman of the Denver District Court. Daniel also clerked for several law firms during law school in a variety of practice areas gaining valuable experience. Daniel graduated from the University of Denver in 2010 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in that same year. In 2011, Daniel was admitted to the Wyoming Bar. Daniel is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court of Colorado, the United States District Court of Wyoming, the Colorado bankruptcy court, and the Wyoming bankruptcy court.
Professional Experience
Daniel has spent much of his legal career in the courtroom arguing on behalf of his clients. Out of law school Daniel practiced primarily civil litigation, specifically creditor's rights. He has vast experience with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure. Daniel actively practiced in the Colorado county and district courts, the Colorado bankruptcy court, and Colorado federal court. While Daniel has found great success litigating matters, he also understands the importance of alternative dispute resolution. Daniel is very experienced in the art of negotiation. Daniel has experience in a variety of practice areas, including estate planning, civil litigation, family law, personal injury, municipal law, and special district law.
Before law school Daniel worked as a violin salesman for Charles W. Liu Fine Violins selling instruments valued between $250.00 to $1,000,000.00+. Daniel managed many of the day to day operations of the violin shop. In addition, Daniel served as Director of Operations for the inaugural Stradivarius International Violin Competition.
Service
Daniel finds great joy in serving others. Currently, Daniel is an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America Troop 93 in Parker, Colorado. He spends a great deal of time helping boys aged 14-16 progress in the scouting program, and help provide opportunities to serve others. Daniel is also a youth group leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ("Mormon") in the Parker Colorado Stake.
Daniel had the opportunity to serve a two-year full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ("Mormon") in the El Salvador, San Salvador West mission. Daniel learned to love the Salvadorean culture, food, and people during his mission. As a result of this experience, Daniel is fully fluent in Spanish.

Daniel is married with three children. He enjoys time with his family, sports (mostly basketball and football), music (playing violin and viola), reading, and spending time outdoors.
