The Law Office of Shawn E. McDermott is a civil litigation firm that was established in Denver, Colorado in 1992 and serves clients throughout the state of Colorado. Our office specializes in disability and life insurance disputes including claims governed under the federal law known as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), disability claims issued under the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association (“PERA”), and private disability insurance claims. We also have extensive experience litigating cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage and bad faith. McDermott Law and my attorney, Tim Garvey receive my highest recommendation. Mr. Garvey & Mr. McDermott were thorough, detail oriented, realistic, and passionate about their work.
