I went to their other location before being referred here. The office was understaffed and receptionists couldn’t really bother to care. Wait time was okay and nothing had to be filled out. While waiting for the doctor. The nurses inaccurately measured my height and grabbed me without consent. The appointment went fine with the doctor trying to persuade me into purchasing a product for something that was never in my concern. Needless to say, I wont be returning.
All of these negative reviews are not what I experienced and I am compelled to negate them! I found Charles Wang as an affordable option as a young mother in the city. It was always easy to set up an appointment, and when we arrived we never waited long. There is a good team in place for registration, triage, and visit. Some requirements for school can be overwhelming! They walk you through the process and make you feel comfortable. They are true professionals! I always enjoy working with everyone here. They are patient, communicative, and helpful. Honestly, I was stressed as a new mom and they always made me feel like me and my family's health was a priority. I always trusted we were in good hands. Even after needing to relocate to a new city, their billing department was incredibly helpful in obtaining medical records and proof of vaccination--with a fast turnaround. I recommend them for pediatric well visits, vaccination compliance, hearing tests, and beyond.
This practice is great! Both my kids come here for pediatrics, dental, and and more. The staff are friendly and responsive, speak several languages/dialects, and make calls beforehand to confirm the appointment and afterward to follow-up. I have friends and coworkers who come her for internal medicine, women's health, and other services.
Their internal medicine, gynecology, and psychology teams are wonderful— this 5-star review is for them! I’ve been a patient in Chinatown for many years and have almost always had a wonderful experience. They’ve always made time to see me, including on a Sunday when I had what I thought was an allergic reaction but turned out to be shingles— they caught it immediately and spared me from the major complications that could have been caused! Skip the psychiatry dept tho. They’re not my bag. But this review isn’t for them.
My daughter had been seeing a pediatrician here for last 3 years. I liked all the doctors we saw here, they are very patient with kids and caring. However, the wait time is beyond awful, and I decided to find another office who can value patients’ time . We usually wait 20-40mins until we go inside the room and there's more waits between each procedures. We usually have to spend at least 1.25 hours and it's sometimes 2 hours. Today we went in for 10am appointment and we were still waiting at 10:30am. They opens at 9am in the morning and 1 hour later, there was already more than 30mins wait. When I complained about the wait time of each visit, they decided to be rude and gave me the attitude. They said " the doctor is seeing someone else, and it’s running late. What do you want me to do?" After I saw a doctor, the front desk lady pointed at me and talked to another worker in Chinese, and they almost yelled at me when I asked them a simple question. We stepped out this clinic at 11:25am for 10am appointment, and we didn’t even see the doctor I made an appointment with. I understand sometimes the wait time is out of their control, but considering the frequency and the length of waiting time here, it’s definitely management’s fault. And the front desk workers attitude today was just unacceptable. They were even aware that this doctor's appointments always runs late, and they were so annoyed when I told them the fact of them being late every time.
First of all let me say I love Charles B. Wayne Community Health Center. After reading some of the reviews they kinda made me feel that I shouldn't go to this place but I'm glad that I did. Sometimes people are like Adultadolescent and they throw tantrums, they're impatient and they don't realize that people are trying their best. After saying all of that I want to thank most of all Fanny Moy, who was absolutely awesome!!! She never once had given up on me. She helped me until the time I left the facility. Thank you so much Fanny! I told you I was going to put down a good review. So for those of you who read all the negative reviews please stay away from them. It's Adultadolescent throwing temper tantrums. And my Primary Care Physician, Julie Yoko Yoshimachi Big thanks! Big thanks! Big thanks! I'm excited to have you as my PCP! And thanks for the blood work ladies and setting up my appointments too, you're excellent. Remember folks don't read the negative.
Pediatrician Dr. Eda Zhao is the best and most attentive doctor I have ever seen. My son has autism. She and her team have helped us a lot and helped our child get better. We are very grateful to Dr. Zhao.
Very disappointed by my experience today. I arrived 15 min ahead of my appointment, per their recommendation when I called to schedule, so I can fill out new patient paperwork. Upon my arrival, a very rude receptionist said that I should have arrived 30 min in advance and hence they can’t service me. I had received a call a day in advance and even the voicemail they left asked for 15 min, but she didn’t care. Definitely not going back.
I have been a loyal patient of this place since my childhood, but the service and attention have deteriorated over time. My last visit was the worst. I had an appointment at 1:30 pm, but I had to wait for two hours before I was seen. I complained to the front desk several times, but it did not help. I only needed a blood test, a quick check-up, and a flu shot. When I requested the flu shot records for my employer a week later, they delayed the process. They asked me to sign a consent form, which I did, and then they told me to log in to a portal to retrieve it which did not work. What was the point of signing the consent form then? I am very disappointed and I will not return to this place again.
throat hurts so bad there is a blisters in my throat and they don’t let me in there was no response from you tried explaining it to them they won’t say anything except for “it’s tomorrow” and the desk’s attitude is bad and the doctor too
