I recommended this place to my parents as they’re renovating their outdoor kitchen. They visited the store and talked to Mike for a good while as he showed them grills and gave them pricing. My dad exchanged business cards with him and he sent a tech out to visit and get measurements, Todd was very knowledgeable. It’s been over a week and they hadn’t heard back until they called today and Mike acted like my parents were never in the store. Said he didn’t remember them coming in, didn’t remember sending a tech out or anything. What kind of rude customer service is that?! Absolutely ridiculous. Extremely unprofessional. They easily lost $3000+ on a potential remodel. Mike needs an attitude adjustment. What a Joke.

I purchased stainless steel doors from this company over 3 years ago. Everything went fine. This year we had problems with the hinges rusting. I had to dig into my files to find the receipt because they couldn’t. They ordered me door replacements. I went by picked them up. When I got home, I opened the box and pulled the doors out and said oh no. They are for a 30” grill, not the 42”. Called back to the store to tell them. The guy said he did is a favor by ordering them and that I had given him the wrong model number. And due to me opening the box he couldn’t take them back. No plastic or anything was removed. FireMagic says they should take them back and replace my doors, but this is the customer service you get from them.

This was my second time working with Mike at Charlotte Grill Company and the experience was nothing less than excellent. I went through multiple iterations of what I wanted and Mike helped me land on the right solution for my needs today and in the future - a quality free-standing grill that I could later build into an outdoor kitchen. Both times I went with Lion products and am extremely happy with the product, the service and professionalism of this outfit. Also, at a time when companies are increasing prices due to availability and shortages, CGC's price held firm and I got exactly what I expected. 5 years ago this company would have received a perfect 5 stars. They had a good start but have done a poor job with their customer service since, including not bidding a job they requested to get a chance to bid and then selling me too many doors for my project and refusing to refund the over. Lots of smaller things along the way, too many to name. Initially, their price on Big Green Egg was much better than the pricey hardware store, but my recent trip showed the gap isn't as wide as it used to be.

Great experience! Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products I was looking at and looking for. One of the rubs I was looking for was out and he was able to show me a comparable product. He talked to me about the different blends offered in the pellets they had in stock as I did not have any experience with the brand they had on hand. If you are looking for grills or what looked like just about anything to go with your grill, they will certainly be able to inform you and help you make a great decision for your purchase!

Does anyone know if this place is still in business? We had an outdoor kitchen installed by them about two years ago and have spent the last six months this trying to get in touch with them as the countertops they had installed by Stabella are falling apart. Numerous emails and voicemails have been unreturned, they apparently don’t have a showroom right now and they never answer the phone. For the money spent, we are appalled at the lack of customer service and failure to stand by their products.

This is such a great local company to work with and purchase from. They are honest about all their products and extremely helpful. They graciously answered all of my emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend them, especially if you are looking to upgrade from the typical hardware store grill. It is refreshing in a world that seems to continue to see a decline in customer service, go out of their way to help.

The staff here is very knowledgeable and honest! I was torn between the Green Mountain Daniel Boone Prime or the Choice as the Prime was very new without many reviews. I went to another dealer in the area, but they acted busy and the salesmen at the store didn't have much experience with the grills they sold. The staff here had full knowledge of GMG products and I felt confident in going with the new Prime. The experience and product selection at this store was excellent.

Absolutely awesome. I bought my Big Green Egg here a year ago. The price is cheaper than everywhere else. They offer not only great products, but services as well. Derek and Mr. Utsey are awesome to work with. I have been a repeat customer here and bring all my friends and family to them for reasons described above. They have everything from grills, rubs, sauces, Charcoal, etc. I won’t be going anywhere else, and neither should you!

Good employees and a great selection of grills & accessories. They are also big on supporting the local communities & police officers. This is where you come when you want quality equipment and knowledgeable staff! Only place in Charlotte that I know sells PK Portable Kitchen Grills.
