One of my favorite places to go to in the fall and winter. It’s a extremely peaceful place to have lunch on the rocks
A wonderful place to spend an evening! We watched the sunset with just a handful of folks! So quiet and peaceful!
I don't know that I would really consider this a "beach" it's a bit too rocky and not much of an area to rest in also rocky. But if that is what you're looking for it might be worth checking out I'm sure it would be great for going out on a boat also.
We have been here several times and enjoyed it each time. Fairly rocky, with smooth stones covering most of the area, one can walk around with sandals or shoes. NOT a sandy beach, by any means. One's experience here largely depends on the water level, but regardless, views of the Adirondacks are spectacular. Not sure of fee structure for residents or non-residents, but a worthwhile trip, nonetheless.
Family friendly. Slippery rocks, lots of feathers in the water. Rock Beach
Cute town beach...pay to park.. rocky shore, but nice dock to swim off. Relatively clean water.
Excellent Beach featuring views of the Adirondacks across Lake Champlain. 6 dollar parking for non-residents.
I kinda don't want to share how great this beach is, because I don't want it to be crowded.
Nice little beach, cute little covered bridge on a side road to Burlington.
The views are beautiful, but the locals break their own rules by bringing their dogs at all hours and into the water and blocking huge sections of the beach for the entire day. I love dogs, but if you're going to ban them on this beach and park area, then everyone should be held accountable, Karen. I'll take a real beach on the ocean any day over this, but the sunsets are worth a stop.
