We sat at a sidewalk table on a perfect weather night. If you’re an Italian sandwich fan like me, I highly recommend “Da Butch.” It’s massive and delicious. You could share it easily for a solid lunch. The chips are also those thick homemade kinda dudes. My husband had the Hawaiian bbq burger. Dang. I didn’t expect this place to whip up such a delicious burger. The fries? Top notch. This place is the definition of “neighborhood gem.” We can’t wait to come back to try more.
Sweet little charming spot for finding delicious goodies. Recommend their breakfast sandwiches and cappuccinos.
Love this spot for coffee, pastries, and a quick meal. Plus they have a small grab n go market inside
Great breakfast sandwich, potatoes were good. But $3 for 12 blueberries, one strawberry, and a half a piece of an orange? Stop being stingy with the fruit! This was less than $0.20 worth of fruit. Cmon.
Food is delicious with quality portions. Staff is extremely friendly. The vibes are chill and easy. Spent hours catching up with friends and loved every minute of it. I wish there were more establishments like this. Will absolutely be visiting frequently.
Had an early lunch here with a girlfriend on Sunday. I had the watermelon sald and it was stacked beautifully. The salad was fresh and light! They typically offer counter service, but bring the food to the table. It's such a nice touch. We wanted to move outside and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Keep doing what you do for the upper fells neighborhood! Thank you!
Great neighborhood eatery/candy store/art gallery/booze store/ice cream store/bakery. Constantly evolving to find its niche. Inside is very cool, awesome tin tile ceiling, solid aesthetics, subway tile behind the bar. Food is solid, this is the $14 chicken salad sandwich with fries. Veggies look super fresh I've seen local deliveries and tasted great. Staff is very friendly. They always have a loyalty program tied to credit card/email, which rules. If you just come for outdoor dining, be sure to check the inside as well! Perfect neighborhood entity.
Nice and very convenient local cafe with a plenty of breakfast offerings and absolutely delicious coffee. I really like indoor area, well decorated and all this wooden tables make the atmosphere so cozy and welcoming. Beware that it's laptop free area
I was so excited to try out Charmed Kitchen based on the reviews and recommendations from neighbors. But after trying to eat there this week, I don't think I'll ever try again. We walked in and weren't sure if we were supposed to grab an open table or wait. Thought the two people were a staff member and someone finishing an order. Nope, two staff members that didn't greet us nor even acknowledge our presence. This lasted about 10 minutes. Our experience just continued to decline further from there. Rarely have I experienced so much condescension - employee eyerolls included - and a complete lack of service. Very disappointed and won't be returning. Edit: Charmed, if you provide an email I'd be happy to send that information over.
I waited 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese to go!!! I asked for 'extra cream cheese' and was charged $1.50 for cream cheese plus another $1.50 for extra cream cheese. Fine, since I'd specified. But, after the price of the bagel, which was cold after I finally received it after an entire 30 minutes, PLUS $3.00 on top of the cold bagel for 'extra cream cheese'...The cold bagel didn't even have a single layer of cream cheese! I couldn't even finish the bagel, as it was cold and dry without even a normal serving of cream cheese. Over all, I wasted 30 minutes of my life and a whole $20 dollars on a coffee, a small and ordinary breakfast sandwich, an okay chocolate croissant, and a cold toasted bagel missing overpriced extra cream cheese.
