I just met this Doctor a month ago based on reviews from my husband and others and I have to say I am a true believer. He is amazing and I've never been so relaxed in my life. In fact, when I go in, I feel like his talking to me is just as much a therapy as the acupuncture itself. Really grateful for finding Dr Chen.
Dr Chen truely cares about your well-being. It's worth a visit to getting you back on track to wellness. He will listen to all your concerns in body, mind and spirit to bring you back to living whole again and or just staying on course for peace of mind! He will go that extra mile to provide you with the best in medical attention. I am grateful to know him and to have him as my personal Doctor. "Thank you Dr Chen!"
Dr Chen is a true healer. He will spend time helping you in a way that other practitioners don’t and is caring and wise in his advice. My experiences over the past three years have always led to decreased pain without the use of medication or surgery.
DR CHEN IS Very easy to talk to He is a Good listener. Very proactive in seeking the causes of your ailment/s. Good bedside manner. Will keep going back again and again. Acupuncture is a GREAT ALTERNATIVE to pain pills. 2 weeks straight I woke with ZERO to little pain at all..started slowly creeping back to normal an 8 after 3 weeks...after acupuncture, was a 2 for days and days!!! Worth Every Penny. Wish I could afford more than once a month right now... Praised be..
F minus. A horrible experience. I was scheduled at Master Chen Acupuncture Institute in Worthington with high recommendation but accidentally ended up here. This office received me as if I had an appointment, not realizing I was at the wrong place. The doctor was dismissive of my complicated, diagnosed, and confirmed issues. He repeatedly insisted my issue was caused ‘by my mind’ and that this was causing ‘MY HUSBAND TO SUFFER!’ Extremely unprofessional leaving me to question the quality of skill, training, and integrity of this practice. I was SO relieved when I realized much later and many tears later that I had gone to the wrong place!!!! I left this office feeling so much worse than when I arrived. Sad to know that people would have an experience like this at a “doctors” office. I have had 4 acupuncturist in my life, so I know what it should feel like. My treatment hurt more than it should have on many levels. My hand was swollen for hours afterwards from one needle and my husband also had a nerve in his leg hit, something that had only happened to him one other time, by a rookie acupuncture student who was geriatric. WOW! I guess I didn’t realized just how bad this experience was until now :/ {on a side note, there was some pretty gross drip marks under the face cradle, yuk!}
Dr Chen is a miracle worker, with acupuncture, minor in office surgerygentle and kind, and holistic meds. This top part is just general things he's done, but below I write about his acupuncture which was totally amazing. He's extremely nice, always smiling, and cares. He's also a D.O. and now my primary care doctor. When I've had a bad sore, he'd take a culture, and if needed drain and did what was needed to help wound, and prescribed a general antibiotic. If the antibiotic wasn't the right one he'd check the right ones, narrow it down to ones that didn't clash with my other meds, and prescribe me the best cheaper one the next day. It worked every every time for me. I haven't see a doctor do this before. He removed 3 of my fingernails after an accident when they were dead, and one finger needed nail removed two more times. It was very scary looking, but he was gentle and there wasn't much pain. By request, he removed all the skin tags on my body, and stitched up the ones that were large and bleed. Again there was little pain. I love Dr. Chen as a doctor. I did everything possible to help neck problems and it only made them worselike physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, etc., and pain pills didn't help. Dr. Mallik, a neurosurgeon, said he thought I'd be back within a few months, because the intensity of pain and degenerative disk disease had ate up a lot of bone in my neck. I wasn't able to sleep for 3 days at a time, and then would pass out. The only way I got temporarily pain relieve was holding my left arm straight up pressing about me head. I was wanting some Thai food and went to Nong's on the third day with no sleep, but accidentally walked into Dr. Chen's old office. I was so blessed. I tried acupuncture as it was something I hadn't tried, and I didn't have to hold left arm in air for rest of day, when next door to eat my Thai food. I slept that night longer than I slept in the last six minutes. It was a month or two process to get to going just once a month. My neurosurgeon told me that acupuncture uses your body's healing energy and directs it to painful area. The pinched nerve seemed to be no longer inflamed and healed. 8 years later I still haven't needed neck surgery. I'm sold.
Amazing professional! I was cured within seven sessions after a year-long struggle with arm numbness. He is HIGHLY knowledgeable!
Dr CS Chen treated me after a serious stroke. I am active today due to his treatments.
Dr. Chen is the man! Very easy to talk too.
