Traveled to Baltimore for a nursing job relocstion and stayed in a 1bedroom apartment at 39 west Lexington street. The apartment was large and very clean. High speed internet was fast and management was very cordial. Location was near everything and was very safe. Indoor free parking was excellent. Highly recommend this company!
I've travelled to Baltimore on a regular basis and the apartments managed by Chase Street are really good. Staff is kind and amazing. Apartments are well located, furnished and clean. Any issues, simply call for assistance and they will be 24x7 around. Congrats & Thanks
I stayed at Chase Street Properties' Charle's street apartment location and had a great stay! The quality of the apartment was superb and customer service was outstanding! Not only did they pick me up at the airport free of charge, but they also took me to my daily medical appointments. Talk about customer service! If you are coming to Baltimore for medical reasons or simply to visit the city, I highly recommend their apartments!

DO NOT stay with Chase Street Properties. The owner threatened to evict my mother, who is a cancer patient undergoing a bone marrow transplant at Johns Hopkins, twice in less than 2 weeks despite the fact that we were still willing and able to pay their stated rates. The first time was ostensibly because we asked why our rates increased during the slowest time of the year. The second time he tried to evict us occurred we asked if we could wait to decide on whether we would extend our lease for a week or a month until we could speak to my mother’s doctor the following morning. When asked to wait less than 24 hours to make this critical decision, the owner immediately responded by threatening to evict us. When we stated that we could not leave because of my mother’s condition, he proceeded to threaten to turn off the utilities to force us out. He also explicitly stated over the phone that he was refusing to accept our payment so that he could take us to court. He did this to force a cancer patient from her temporary home while she was still bedridden with a fever. This is one of the lowest, most despicable things I’ve ever personally witnessed, and there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior. Be aware that the owner does not know state and local laws and is willing to make illegal threats in order to intimidate paying customers. If you are looking for a pet-friendly short-term rental in downtown Baltimore, it is much easier and cheaper to book a 3-month lease directly with Southern Management. The same 2-bedroom apartment that Chase Street charges $4,200 per month to stay in goes for $1,750 directly from Southern Management, with a one-time fee of $300 to rent furniture for the unit and several options for long-term parking nearby. Southern Management has the added advantage of being run by rational, caring adults.
STAY AWAY FROM THE CHILDISH NONSENSE OF THESE PROPERTY OWNERS!! I booked accommodations at one of these properties through Air BnB in March 2021 for a stay 7/11-17. In the beginning of June I contacted the owners to ask a question about bedding and was told my stay was not long enough and they’d be cancelling. When I tried to clarify what was happening the owner became unresponsive and I had to seek assistance from Air BnB support. After several very stressful days of back and forth escalated support, the owner confirmed that my reservation would remain intact. On 7/8, just after the booking was paid in full, I received notice that my reservation was being cancelled and refunded. The owner claimed water damage would not be repaired in time for my stay. I sent the owner a message questioning the cancellation. The petty response says “thank god I’m not hosting you”. Now, the owner has my accommodations re-listed for a higher nightly rate than I paid. Further research shows the owner has a history of accepting reservations and cancelling/relocating guests. If any sort of unfavorable feedback is left, the owner responds with immature comments. This clearly is not an individual who is capable of interacting with clients and/or running a housing business.
We booked last month... I didn’t receive a cancellation until 2:58 when I arrived at the property which I was booking for my daughters 18th birthday so I’m sure you can imagine the dissatisfaction and disappointment that caused especially since this was booked way in advance then booking said that my credit card payment was invalid so I’m thinking maybe it’s a mistake and reach out to the property directly explaining what happened I received a text back saying “ Your booking had Been cancelled Nothing was charged to your credit card. Chase Street Properties “ .With a thumbs up emoji ...if that was the case we would have made other arrangements prior .Definitely would not recommend booking with them very poor communication!!! Wish I would have saw the reviews beforehand.
Run don’t walk. Serious do not book this place, you’re better off at a motel and I’m sure you’ll get MUCH better customer service than here. The place I was put in was DIRTY. Like during covid you want to be in a nice clean place, especially when your getting charged a cleaning fee. Pictures are not accurate. They reuse pics for all their properties so you don’t really know which place yours truly will end up looking like till your there. And don’t get me started on the people. The person I was dealing with was rude, disrespectful, and was showing major discriminatory behavior. NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE.
I made a reservation via Airbnb. When we arrived, they had changed our reservation, stating our place was no longer available. Smaller apartment and further from our destination. When I contacted the host, he offered a full refund. When it came time for the redund, he told Airbnb he changed his mind, even though we did not stay at the location. Complete bait and switch, along with fraud!
I made a reservation in one of their properties through airBNB over a month before I was supposed to start staying there. Two days prior to my stay, I received a call saying that the property would not be available on the dates that it was reserved. I requested that they cancel the reservation for me to get my refund and look for a different place, which did not happen, so I had to have airBNB forcibly cancel the appointment. I would have serious professionalisms concerns with this company if you were thinking of doing business with them.
