Chen Vegetarian

Amazing vegetarian/vegan food. They cook everything from scratch and every dish I tried was delicious. You can either order for take out or eat there. Which the restaurant is very clean as well. The people who work here are friendly and cook everything in a timely manner.

I don’t know how they do it, but they did it and the food is absolutely amazing. The owners are so nice too and you go in there and feel welcomed immediately. If you go, try the curry. It was mouth watering. Every time I go here, I always want to order something to go after I’ve eaten in just so I can have other people who live further away try it! Carnivores are just as satisfied too! Hands down my fave Asian restaurant!

This is my favorite place to eat in West Reading! I am never disappointed by the quality and service. Everything here is 100% vegetable based but Chen is a highly recommended pit stop for vegans and carnivores alike. I haven't tried everything yet but the vegan chicken meals are good, the seitan is amazing. Today I had the vegan salmon. Yum!

Its one of my favorite places to eat. The food is so good. I'm not even vegetarian but I would pick this seseme chicken over any place.

What an amazing gem of a find this place was and even that in Reading, Pennsylvania. I urge all vegan and vegetarian food lovers to visit this place especially if you are fan of mock meats like we are. This looks like a small mom and pop restaurant. The interior is very normal like any Chinese restaurant but its the food that caught us off guard. We ordered carrot and ginger juice which was prepared fresh. We could hear the blender. For appetizers we had salt and pepper chicken tenders and deep fried wontons. Dinner was General Tso’s chicken and basil soy protein. Everything was flavorful and very different. We really enjoyed. I urge people especially vegans and vegetarians and mock meat lovers to try Chen. Keep it up guys. We will definitely stop by when passing thru Reading.
