For my first time dining her I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The host sat my Aunt & I quickly & our order was placed swiftly as well(there was only ever one other table there while we ate, so it was slow). The beet lemonade was good(& I dislike beets with a passion) & for a non-lover of cauliflower the cauliflower steak was exceptional & blew my uncertainty out of the water with the first bite. They have quite an extensive menu for a vegan restaurant tho comparative to your "average" restaurant the menu is small. I hope they expand their variety as most of the meals had one or more item I do not like(though the cauliflower steak changed my mind about cauliflower). Overall a 5 out of 5 ☆

Consistently the best plant-based / vegan food anywhere near Central New Jersey. Their dishes rotate with some standard flavors but they always adapt them with seasonal vegetables, so it doesn't get old. Every dish is so perfectly balanced: savory, salty, sweet, spicy... they really know how to balance flavor. It's so rare that I go out to eat and find such attention to bold flavor that is so satisfying. My favorite is the corn crusted tempeh, tofu tacos, and Brussels sprouts.
The restaurant is warm and cozy, without being too fancy. It's perfect for a date night out or a casual brunch. Definitely make reservations if you are more than two as it can get busy on the weekends.
The quality of food and the evolving menu keeps me coming back and leaving thinking that it still remains the best vegan anywhere around.

My sister's significant other made reservations two weeks in advance for a party of 16. Despite being advised of it being a birthday celebration, they refused to allow us to bring a vegan birthday cake with us and said that they would make an "exception" for us but charge us $4 a plate to SERVE THE CAKE THAT WE BROUGHT, despite all of us purchasing entrees. Ignoring the fact that this adds up to quite a bit extra for a party of about 16 people, it's just plain unconscionable no matter what. Outside of this particular aspect of our visit, we got off to a terrible start when it took a good 15 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge us upon arrival. When we were finally seated, our party was separated into two tables. After asking both the waitress and the hostess if it was possible to put our reserved party together, some of our guests were afraid to impose and be treated any worse so we remained two separate, distanced tables. Then there was the wait. Other guests who arrived after us ate their food and left LONG before we got to taste our meals. At least two of the five entrees offered contained mushrooms. I requested one of them without mushrooms and was told that it was premade (hello, not made fresh yet at the price an omnivore would pay for prime rib) and could not have it without. When our food came out, mine was served to my friend who didn't realize the mistake and began eating it. None of the meals were distinguishable, so it was not an easy mistake for a diner to spot. My niece ordered the jasmine rice cakes, which tasted good upon first bite but were a total culinary faux-pas to be spotted by even the most inexperienced of chefs because the texture was SO soggy and mushy and there was nothing to counterbalance it. In summary - we have eaten at this place several times. Each time the food gets worse, and the service always kind of sucked but this time it really took the cake - literally. The only thing that I enjoyed was the company (at least those who got to sit at the head table) and the almond iced chai.

Food is fabulous with great atmosphere. The server was very nice however, it took forever for our food to get to us.
