I’ve just finished my third three stay in this hotel. The staff and facilities just get better and better! Food is very good, bar and service is delightful. Front desk staff are friendly, attentive and guest oriented. And, the surrounding restaurants are varied and reliably good. Go! Now!Rooms: 5/5
The front desk staff are awesome. The rest of the hotel isn't. The grill/restaurant here is not good at all. I would rather eat any fast food over the food that comes from their grill. I've been here for 2 weeks on business, and the food is next to terrible. I ordered a medium rare hamburger 3 nights in a row, and all 3 nights the burger came out very well done. The food/beverage staff behind the bar don't know what they are doing and it shows. I pay a premium to stay here, but all aspects of this hotel fail. Food & drinks: Mediocre at best, but usually bad and not worth the long wait or price.
This did not seem like your typical Hilton Garden Inn. I actually debated as to whether to give this two stars or three stars. The hotel is clean but looks like it can use some updating. The front desk personnel tended to look casual leaning over the desks and almost did not look like they worked there. There were boxes and other stacked items behind the front desk which gave it the appearance that they were still moving in. The rooms are typical for a Hilton garden inn, but what I did like is that I was able to keep my room fairly cool which is quite key for me. They also have dark roast coffee in the room which is also my preference. Because of the boldness of the flavor. There were ample plugins for your electronic devices. I did not sample the food but they did have free bottles of water downstairs, which I thought was a very nice touch. There is limited surface parking but there is underground parking which gets you out of any weather. The elevator was broken however. They also failed to provide ANY of my Diamond Status benefits
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. We had an incident happen the night before we left and weren't able to leave when we were planning. The front desk staff and maintenance were very helpful in mitigating it as much as they could. The front desk person, Max, did everything he could to make our stay better, and he succeeded. 100% will stay again.
Very overpriced and overall poor service. Checked in on app day before and picked a room with king bed. Upon arrival was given a different room with two queen beds and told nothing they can do about it. Moldy areas in shower. Rooms are not that clean. Air conditioner sounded like a semi truck. Shower had the pressure of a partially blocked garden hose. Would never stay here again.
The hotel is full of extras. The bar, breakfast and service are fantastic. The staff were always on point. Max, Frank, Jonathan to name a few. And right there in the area, several not to be missed restaurants. You may pay more but, you get so much more.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel was beautifully kept, clean, and it's in a great spot for walking to a variety of dinner spots. The morning and night staff didn't seem super knowledgeable about the questions we had, but they were mostly very kind. I will say, the only real complaint I have was that the breakfast offered is about $15 per person, and it is VERY low quality. It is, at best, a "continental " style breakfast that pre-covid would've been free, but even still the options were very limited, the food was cold, and any main course foods were an extra $13+. Rooms: The room was great, very standard. Nearby activities: The hotel is in a great location, but inside the hotel they have a great bar, fantastic little snack shop, and a nice pool and hot tub. Located not far from MeowWolf or downtown Denver Walkability: Amazingly walkable. Dozens of dinner options, some shopping, a dispensery within a couple blocks. Food & drinks: There is a nice hotel bar, but the breakfast was very expensive and very much not worth the cost for the limited selection and cold bacon and eggs. No waffle iron or anything of the kind. Totally self-service
This did not live up to the Hilton name AT ALL! The Honors welcome gift was 2 waters and a little bag of peanut M&Ms. They allow ANY guest unlimited bottles of water from the basket in the lounge. Maybe give a voucher for the bar with tip included. The quality of the rooms, bathrooms, and halls did not make it feel like you were staying in a Hilton. It was not even like a low-budget hotel. Lower quality Thabo that. Very disappointing.
Our room for one night cost $400 + tax etc and is an absolutely INSANE price for this property. We stayed here one night to attend a meeting and thought it best to stay where the meeting was being hosted, but it was an error. If we had paid $200 or less this property would have been completely acceptable, but at $400 plus dollars this property is very disappointing. It is not particulary clean, the duvet cover was dingy and stained, I felt the need to wear flip flops in the room. It feels dated and needs a refresh. The carperts are fraying next to the adjoing tile. The conference room bathrooms had used bars of hand soap out and the sinks are badly stained. The showers in the room are cheap inserts that are also stained. Corporate profiteering in full effect here at the Hilton Garden Inn at Cherry Creek. The Hyatt House is a block away, is $175 and is clean, neat and new so we are moving there for tonight. The staff while nice, has no idea what is going on and the breakfast which is not included in the $400 price tag, was 30 minutes late in opening. If you are trying to get to a meeting or catch a flight it's certainly not ideal. I will never stay at Hilton property again.
This hotel is extremely unsafe DONT STAY HERE! The room next me I heard a bunch of guys come in super drunk at 1 am. At 5:30 one of them was banging on the connecting door screaming to let them into my room and body slamming the door!!!! It was terrifying, when I talked to the front desk they said it was the manager and they had to cut him off from alcohol because he was so drunk????? Why is the manager staying in the hotel he manages?? Then when we were checking out they were pretending they didn’t know what happened and kept lying trying to cover themselves and cover for the manager. They played dumb saying they didn’t know about the issue then when we brought it up they said oh it’s the manager of a sports team staying here not the hotel manager, so they did know what happened and we’re lying. Also if it was the manager of the sports team why lie and cover for some random guy, it was obviously the hotel manager staying there and they were covering for him. I wonder if this has happened before with the manager trying to get into womens rooms when he is drunk? This hotel is extremely unsafe especially for women. I would not recommend this hotel ever. Also the bathtub had like a yellow ring of mildew and was really gross and not cleaned.
