Story

Child Advocates is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) chosen by the courts in Marion County (Indianapolis), Indiana to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children. We fulfill our mission through advocacy, monitoring, evaluation, fact-finding and mediation. Volunteers assist staff professionals in each child’s case to make sure those children do not get lost in the system, that their needs are met during the course of their court cases, and that a safe, permanent home is found for them as soon as possible.

Child Advocates is a 501 (c) (3) agency and is certified by the National CASA Association and the Indiana State Office of GAL/CASA. We are a United Way of Central Indiana agency.

Mission

Child Advocates engages community volunteers and staff to protect children who are victims of child abuse. We are their voices in court, ensuring all children thrive in a safe and secure home.
