Welcome to Children’s House Montessori School, known as CHMS, a Montessori preschool serving children in Arlington, Va from two years of age to six years of age.
In 2000, Children’s House Montessori School opened its doors to its first preschoolers and our Head of School, Denise Touma, assumed the Head of School position. Today, CHMS has grown to four Montessori preschool classrooms and one Montessori toddler classroom.
Our 18 teachers and teachers assistants, from across the Globe, serve to help your child flourish in our Montessori environment. Many teachers have taught at CHMS for at least 15 years, which supports our strong sense of community. We look forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary in the coming years.
Our mission is to provide a high-quality education in a safe, supportive environment while honoring the individual talents of each child.
