China Cafe Carryout

1st time visit. Clean inside... only 2 benches to wait for your order.. it's literally a carryout... no tables/ no option to eat in. Staff is super friendly and responsive. Ordered vegetable fried rice and spring rolls. Food was ready in about 10 min. Hot, fresh and tasty is how I'd sum it up. I was super surprised and happy to see the chunk vegetables in it!! Lot of Chinese places will just add bean sprouts and scallions or onions to fried rice and call it vegetable fried rice. This was full of carrots, broccoli, soybean, onion, scallion, and mushroom. The spring rolls were just as good. Cooked perfectly, great flavor, not overly oily, ans had just the right amount of filling inside. Tasty on their own even without the duck sauce. I've just found my new favorite Chinese food spot. The hype is real. I'll def be back.

My favorite restaurant in my neighborhood! They even added a complimentary Egg Roll to my order! I recommend the General Tso’s meal.

Been going to this place since 1984. Chicken wings mambo sauce fried rice. Best in DC customer service outstanding steak and cheese fish cheese always fresh and plentiful. In my personal opinion, the food was average, the service was ok and the atmosphere was alright, nothing about this place excites me!!! it's no different than any other carryout in the DMV. I was extremely hungry so I went there for something to eat....Food: 2/5

I am in love with their customer service inspite of the surroundings; The food is always well packaged. I normally order the tofu cooked firm in garlic sauce w/mixed veggies .... Never disappointed.
