China Garden

So inconsistent, I try to give it extra chances, because when it is good, it is great. Mostly bad experiences and what seems like an ordering scam have made me give up. They could be awesome, but their staff is nearly always rude and the food and titles of menu items are so inconsistent it just isn't worth it anymore.

I have been here a few times and constantly am disappointed with the food. The hot and sour soup tastes more akin to chicken both with some hot seasoning, than true soup. The moo goo gai pan was an overload of celery and onion, with undercooked carrots and very little chicken. The Mongolian beef was also heavy on the onion, but lacking in flavor and substance.

I have liked their combination dinner with sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, chow mein, egg roll, and soup for over 20 years. I haven't had a soup with rice and onions like they have there at any other Chinese restaurant I have been to; it's a simple and delicious appetizer. I will continue to visit whenever I can!

I ordered for delivery today, and that was fine but the lady taking my card info was rude and impatient. Once our food arrived everything was fine until I found a piece of wire from a scouring pad in my chow mein. When I called to tell them what happened the same lady answered the phone and was rude while I asked for a manager. When the manager picked up it was the same rudeness. She asked for my card info again to refund the amount for the combo but didn't state what amount was being refunded before she hung up on me. I had to call back and ask what was being refunded. 100% will not go/order from here again. Total joke of a restaurant.

First visit and did lunch. Good prices tho with a limited lunch menu. Good portions, quality and service. I'll be going back.
