Fortune House | Chinese Restaurant

Usually we order carry out and enjoy it. Today we stayed and had the buffet. This was not awesome. The food was not as fresh and half the stuff we wanted was out or so low we would have to have the crusted on bits. No cream cheese wontons and bottom scrapings of the fried rice. So that was disappointing. The staff was nice and the tables were clean. We will be going elsewhere from now on.

Got yelled at by a stout helmet haired lady when we looked at the menu because we were undecided about the buffet. She, with a combination eye roll and look of anger and utter disdain exclaimed (direct quote here) "WHY YOU NO WANT BUFFET!?!". This was clearly not a question, but an accusation on her part. We sat in disbelief for a minute and decided that we were now too uncomfortable to eat there. We paid for our drinks and left. Not sure what her problem was. The lady that seated us was very nice.

Best Shrimp and vegetables I've ever had in my life. I usually eat the buffet when I go there and the food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Lo mein is awesome! When I want to get take out I order the Shrimp with vegetables and take it home to eat. Love this place!

We love the Fortune buffet. Best Won Tons anywhere. I wish I lived next door.

Buffet was bad. Wontons looked like they’d been sitting there for too long. The sweet and sour sauce had a funny smell and didn’t taste good. Didn’t even finish one plate. Service was okay and the staff was nice.
