Good bit pricey and the delivery fee is too much for driving 5 mins up the road. I think after XX miles they should charge

I cannot speak for the rest of the food. But the crab rangoons are chewy, bland and were cold grabbed them out of the fryer as myself the only customer walked in and the egg rolls tasted as if they were fried in the same grease as fish or it was just very old grease, while I love fish I am not too fond of fish flavored greased fried pork egg rolls, thankfully I have no fish/seafood allergy still had to throw the whole thing away would not feed it to my dog. And thank you for handing my order and walking away to the back after I signed my cc slip. I did not want soy sauce or anything else like that especially a napkin or plastic utensils you do not offer in the dining room.

The only Chinese place I will go to! The food is always super fresh! I love that they offer white meat chicken! Makes me a lot more comfortable! The family is always very nice and agreeable. I’ve come in early for my call in orders before and they always try and rush to get it done!

Service wasnt bad to me, and delivery was accurately on time. Prices were quite reasonable and the presentation was nice. The food however was tasteless, sweet and sour chicken was all breaded and tasted like old grease. The sesame chicken was tough and cold. The rice was terrible and left a bad tang in mouth. The honey chicken was hard and chewy at the same time. Not a good combination. General Taos despite being spicy was quite bland tasting. The only part about the food I enjoyed was the egg rolls, and I'm not even sure if they were good or just good in comparison to the rest of the food I had just tasted. It's a shame, but I do not think I will be giving this place another shot.

I received my order and my egg rolls were missing. When I called the lady tried to give me a free soda instead on my next order. No I paid for them, I don’t have them. So they sent me new ones and when they arrived they were completely burnt. This is not the first time they have done something like this but it is the last!! Get it together or get out of the industry.

DO NOT ORDER FRIDAY M HERE. Placed a large order through grub hub over $100 including delivery fee and tip. After about 45 minutes the order was cancelled By China Wok with absolutely no explanation. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for the refund. I am glad I have extra money to order from another restaurant but this is ridiculous and I will never order from this place again. China Wok cancelled the order with Grub Hub and then Grub Hub informed me of the cancellation. This restaurant didn’t even have the courtesy to contact me and see if I wanted to change the order. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. There are many places that place their customers first when you have a craving for Chinese food.

We went out to support our local take out during the virus and noticed two things at this takeout: 1. Despite being quite busy, they got our food on time and it was DELICIOUS. I've known their cook from a different take out years ago. His dishes have always been consistently good. We ordered two dishes: typical general tso's and garlic chicken highly recommend this one if you haven't tried it. Sweet and tangy! Texture all of it was on point. I'm talking consistently good for years. I definitely recommend this place. 2. They are operating with a full public health conscious mindset. Note: This review has been written during the Covid19 pandemic. They sealed off their own doorway with a clear plastic wall with a short table and hand sanitizer directly in between the customer and the clear wall. Keeping their business and the public as safe as possible. Gotta love these guys...A small clear flap opens where they can set your food down on the table and you hand them your payment. There is also an overhang, so no worries about weather. Communication is safe and easy! We saw many customers handle their business easily. Can't appreciate their efforts more!

Very good! I am originally from Massachusetts and the chinese food down there is awesome. I have to say this is the closest to home that I have tasted in Virginia beach.

I've been ordering Chinese food here for at least 10 years. All of the other shops on this strip has opened, closed, and changed, but this place remains. I think it's still the same people that run it because the lady up front is still the same. They used to make sweet and sour sauce with pineapples, but they stopped doing that. The sweet and sour pieces have gotten smaller, too. But the taste is still good. They also make the best shrimp mixed vegetables and shrimp lo mein out of the Chinese restaurants in the area. You just gotta order quickly from the lady instead of dilly dallying. Be efficient in ordering. lol Never had a problem with her when ordering on the phone or in person as long as I told her quickly what I wanted. No frills.

I like the way that the owner of this restaurant protects customers and themselves from Covid, and I feel totally safe to order food during this difficult time. And their food is always fresh and good. I just hope this restaurant can be closer to where I live.
