This is decent food quality for price, considering it's a Chinese takeout restaurant. There are sit-down tables inside if you wish to eat there. Call ahead to order. If they are busy, it's a longer wait. The chicken and broccoli were tasty. The shrimp and snow peas were also tasty with large sized shrimp. The pork egg rolls were also tasty and crispy. This was a great choice for a last-minute late dinner.
Very nice people and extremely fast service… Jenny was absolutely the sweetest lady and she was just spot on with her customer service skills….excellent! And to top it all off I had the best Chinese food I have had in a long long time as I have been searching for a good take out and by golly I found my number one !!! hey Anybody that is reading this review please take this to heart because I am extremely picky!!! Their food has a distinct flavor that I have never experienced before in a Chinese restaurant …so so delicious ; Good job well done .
I ordered the house fried rice,. it was horrible, like they cooked the rice in mop water it was just nasty, fried chicken tasted tainted, must have had it sitting out too long, it was not good I will not be ordering from them ever again.
10-29-18 when here for lunch today it was good. I had the General Tso's chicken, it tasted good just the right amount of heat. I got it with fried rice instead of white rice it was a nice change. I will definitely come back to try another dish.
We only ordered here because my normal place is closed on Tuesdays. If you think this is good Chinese food, I feel Very bad for you because it means you’ve never had good Chinese before. This was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Ordered fried rice and Lomein and it tasted like they reused the same burnt oil over and over again. It was horrible. We threw them away. My general chicken was so watery. The Mongolian beef barely had any seasoning. I gave two starts because the beef and broccoli was fine but this $70 was the biggest waste of my money I’ve ever seen.
The customer service at this restaurant is Terrible!!!!! I don't know if it's one lady or they are twins . She is very very rude. When you get a customers order wrong just applogize and make it correct, don't argue with the customer that he or she is spending their hard earned money.
The new people that they added have bad customer service skills . It was a great place to eat and they treated you like family but now the new people up front makes you not want to go to the restaurant anymore.
The woman at the counter wasn't super friendly but I guess she doesn't have to be. The food and the price made up for that. Reasonably priced and good food. Big selection.
This place has terrific food. The best vegetable lo mein around.
This is my official go to. Being from New York City Especially from the hood. The way I judge a Chinese restaurant is how good are the wings? How good is the fried rice? How good is The lo mein? How good is the beef with broccoli? if all those answers are good then this is The spot. Sure, Tung Hoi has better wings but the rest of the menu is inconsistent . Number 1at least THIS location is certified Brooklyn approved. UPDATE 12-2022: It is with heavy heart that I should have to write this. There has been a shakeup in personnel at this location. In more than 10 years as a regular customer, this location could depend on my family spending at LEAST $70 per week here. I enjoyed being recognized like Norm Petersen when I walked through the door as well as when we called in an order. All of that came to an end in September when not only did I NOT recognize the staff, the lady @ the window was very combative with me. To top it off the afore mentioned wings now had ZERO flavor. So now the familiar friendly service that I had grown accustomed to love is gone, SO IS THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name - I NO LONGER KNOW THESE PEOPLE, AND THEY DON'T KNOW ME. Not a recipe for success. I do understand that the No.1 brand is multiple locations throughout the region - THIS WAS MY LOCATION and it is sad to have to let it go
