Tung Hoi Chinese Restaurant

General Tso’s Chicken was really delicious. Chicken was crunchy which is hard to find here in Hampton Roads. Definitely how I prefer it! Only downside is the portion size which seems to be the same at every Chinese location after Covid. Will absolutely go back!

Me and my friends have been ordering from this restaurant since we were in middle school, and me and my husband still order from this restaurant to this day. Always great service and their food is delicious.

Being new to the area, we have been trying to find a good carry out Chinese place. This one was very good. The whole family enjoyed their food and we will be going back.

What was supposed to be chicken teriyaki was nasty dried out flavorless fried chicken on a stick. It was so hard, I was scared feed it to my pit bull. The shrimp egg roll had 1 shrimp in it and tasted like they hadn’t changed the grease in their fryers for a while. Won’t be ordering here again.

For parties, I come here with my own Tray and ask them to fill It up w 20$ worth of General Tso Chicken..Is it really chicken? I don’t know...but it’s really good! Everyone in the Salem area knows this place

Food was ok, not great. They had a child answering the phones which was bizarre. The door was propped open so I was standing there waiting for my food and freezing. Boone cooking had on masks. This was a one and done.

Our family loves this place. Great food, fantastic service. Highly recommend.
