Chisos Mountains Lodge

We ate at the restaurant and shopped the gift shop. Sometimes national parks have mediocre food thst is overpriced. Not here. The food was creative and tasty, the service was friendly, and the view was wonderful...all for a reasonable price. We're going to stay there, because we were that impressed by the restaurant.

If you are visiting Big Bend, I highly recommend stopping by the restaurant for a nice dinner after a long day of hiking. The view is amazing, the dining area is nice, and food was pretty good. Granted, I have had better chicken fried steak, but theirs hit the spot after tackling the Window Trail. The waiter was polite and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. My advise: get there just before they open for dinner so you can get a seat in front of the large windows facing the Window.

just a typical national park restaurant, nothing special at all. loud music in the kitchen, servers cussing. as a cook of 12 years, i personally dont have a problem with it but i post this review on behalf of other people. the salad bar wasnt bad tho but the soup was just out of a can.

Wonderfully located in the Chisos Mountains, right in the middle of the park. Very clean. The lodge is amazing although it can be a bit pricey and the view of some rooms of the loge can be quite disappointing for this incredible location. There is a market and a very nice and affordable restaurant right around the corner.

Well kept rooms. Location is outstanding. Awesome view whenever you open your door. Our balcony had great view of Emory Peak.
