Chris Lieck Studios

Chris Lieck is a total egomaniac. He, his studio, and his school is sub par. He believes in nothing but money, and he looks down on anyone who isnt him. He lets other people handle ALL of the work load that comes into his studio and takes all the credit for the work. He believes his time and experience is worth more then anyone can pay, so he'll hand it off to the students paying to work for him. His right hand man Donato A. is a self proclaimed A-hole. If you are an up an coming student, he will put you down in the worst way and make sure you never learn anything more then the basics. Chis Lieck Studios and COMIA is a hustle, something to make money and keep the lights on for his studio. For every successful recording session or album he puts out, 15 projects are put the wayside. Keep your money, learn somewhere else that actually pays off and gives you a internship or opportunity into the business. Running sound for local clubs or churches is more real, caring, and worthwhile then the COMIA course. These people do nothing for their students. Chris even complains that no one of worth stays the course with them. This is because he's such an insufferable person to deal with. Its literally, put up with his BS for as long as you can and you'll learn something. This studio and "school" is awful. These people are afraid of, and blame youtube instructional videos for their slow business. You can do better with a book and tips off the internet. Save your money learning and recording wise.
