The Vic Dean Band (TVDB) tracked, mixed & mastered Stars & Scars. A 9-song Album project w/Jason Hatch, Owner of Nexus studios. Overall it was a stellar professional grade experience. Absolutely worst persona to work with..derrogatory responses upon requesting to tweek few sounds on his end..especially if YOUR paying for it...Stays on Phone during your recording!! Just to end up carying Home a Product your not happy with!!..if you know your Music and know what you want..dont go there..find another place that respects your knowledge!!!!

Nexus Recording Studios is beyond fabulous. As an artist, you look for high quality studios that guarantee you great results. Not all studios or engineers provide that. I have been to studios where the engineer was just no good. Jason, however, was very polite and knows what he is doing. He provides the best and his work is phenomenal. The environment is very clean, organized, professional, and cozy. Overall, my experience was great. I highly recommend Nexus Recording Studios for anyone in the San Antonio,TX area.

Working with Nexus studios was not only one of the coolest places I've been too but also down to earth, Jason (our engineer) was more than capable in anything we asked him to do! trust me we we're less than fully prepared and without Jason's knowledge and expertise we would not have came out with the record we did. Nexus did an excellent job accommodating to us both pre and post production. Our music sounded awesome! not to mention a relaxed & comfortable environment to record in. i would recommend this studio to anyone in the San Antonio area!
