I have been using this business for the past 4 years since we moved to the Palisades and after another dry-cleaner ruined a pair of my husband's suit pants in a repair disaster. I have never had anything come back ruined. They are always incredibly friendly and kind when I go in and have treats for my dogs. They have always been upfront when there is a stain that they feel they might not be able to get out--but usually they make a good effort and almost always everything comes back good as new. We have had some things altered and repaired as well, and though the repair prices are not inexpensive, the job is well done. I have had several evening gowns/bridesmaid dresses altered/hemmed with success.
I've been a client of Chu's Cleaners for many, many years and recommend them to everyone. Not only are my clothes always ready on time but they are invariably pristine, Any work I need buttons, hemming, zippers, etc is always done rapidly and impeccably. To top it off, Mr David Chu and his son are first rate human beings, always with a kind word or action. They deserve six stars.
So I used this particular cleaners only twice only for them to ruin a brand new shirt. When I brought it to their attention a few days the owner accused me of the stains. Pink stains They were difficult to deal with, especially bc I wasn’t asking for them to reimburse me for the cost of the shirt. Instead, I wanted them to comp my next dry cleaning order which seems reasonable to me. I’M NEVER GOING BACK!!
I have been going to Chu's for years. I appreciate that they have parking for convenience, but I am more grateful for their fine service. Whoever is manning the front desk always greets me warmly and usually remembers my name, which is pretty good because I don't use them super regularly with children, I have become a fan of machine-washable items! And whatever I have tasked them to do dry-cleaning or hemming pants is always done on time.

Great service with a warm smile! I appreciate how they always insist on helping by taking my larger than normal laundry loads out to my car; even tho I could do it myself... That's the kind of service they provide
