The coffee was strong and hot, basically perfect. The cheesy grits could have used some salt. I ordered grits and two eggs. There was also a pancake meal and I heard how amazing they were. The bacon was thick. Great atmosphere and service. We will be back and next time I'm going for boozy coffee.
This place has incredible atmosphere! But I do not recommend going on the weekend or 1.5 hours or less before closing. We got on the waitlist at 1:30pm. They close at 3pm. It took 45 minutes to be seated. Our companions ordered tea and yogurt. The tea never came. The food came an hour later and my pancake was burnt black on one side. Our poor waiter was so harried he didn't even notice I'd pushed it to the edge of the table and turned the burnt side up til we shouted at him. Aside from that, I think it's worth giving another chance in a weekday.
The food was DELICIOUS! This was our first time trying them out and we weren't disappointed at all. The service, the food and the atmosphere was awesome. I'd highly recommend this spotFood: 5/5
This place is great! Food was delicious and service was excellent. We got the cheese steak. I'm from the Philly are so not as good as Philly but quite good for Baltimore. Good bread. We also the Spaniard Skillet and that was lovely. Everything bagel English muffin was fun and unexpected. I'm going to try the steak and eggs next time I'm there.
I had the Cuban and my friends got cheese steaks. everything was delicious and the service was wonderful. I look forward to going back and working my way through the rest of the menu. Bloody Mary was on point as well.
Cool place with decent burger and fries. Wednesday night is burger night and the rest of the menu is not available. Good selection of interesting burgers. But mine was a little over done.
I found Chuck's Trading Post via a google search of breakfast in the area, that i was going to be in. As I entered the place, I though "oh this is going to be one of those hipster Places Where they only serve Avacado Toast and Kambucha" Not my thing at all The decor was quirky and interesting. We were warmly greeted at the door and offered a table. A personable young lady came over with menus and asked if we wanted a drink. I had a very good Bloody Mary. The menu was impressive for a small place with an open cooking area. I settled on Steak and Eggs. Not an easy choice with such a good menu, but they had me at Chimichurri . It came out quick. Both the Steak and eggs were cooked exactly how I asked. The meal was beautifully presented This was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. The entire staff was friendly. 10 out of 10 I will be back!
Very cool, down home, kinda place. Fantastic skillets, lots of other options. They also have a sort of market there for carry out, beer, wine, vegetable cart, just a cool place. Inexpensive too, lots of options in the $9-12 range. A big menu for all kinds of diets. Not huge so there was a short wait, we called ahead because we had a table for 6. Indoor and outdoor seating options but not a big place. Sort of hidden in a corner of Hampden but not too far from the end of the Avenue. A cool spot.
Excellent!! Highly recommend! My husband still talks about the potato hash! Great food good prices great service!
We got there right as they were closing, but they took our to-go order. It was so good, we ended up just eating in the car. Will return! 4/19/22 update! We dined in and the food was even better.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
