Today, 03/29/17, I observed an incident which deeply disturbed me.
A small girl, probably 5 or 6 years of age, was playing with a ball. An older male student, twice her size, asked her to give it to him. She shook her head. He then reached over and took it away from her, so that the boys could play soccer.
The adults who were "supervising" observed this. The little girl even went up to one of the adults (a male with glasses) and told him about it. He did NOTHING.
Firstly, the male student who took the ball away from the little girl should NOT have gotten away with that type of behavior. This is BULLYING. The adult to whom the little girl complained should have corrected the young male student, and admonished him not to do this.
Parents; Do you want your children exposed to this type of behavior??? I leave you to your respective consciences.
