Glendale Church of Christ

We moved to the Pasadena Area 5 years ago, and revisited this Church that we had attended nearly 15 years before for about 3 years during my Residency at USC. We were looking for a loving family environment, and felt immediately welcome. With 11,12 and 18 year old children, our decision largely depended upon them finding a place where they fit in. After several visits, my 12 year old son looked at me and said, "let's stay here, it feels like home." We have been blessed ever since with our new family and have become involved in the ministry that this congregation does among it's members and outreach to the community. This is a great place to find God, Worship Him, and do his work in this world.

I absolutely love the Glendale Church of Christ. As a teenager I attended the church from time to time when I visited my Aunt who was a member there and really enjoyed the youth group. Many years later while a member of a different congregation I attended a marriage workshop series at Glendale and felt so at home and comfortable with the changes they had made towards being a more welcoming church. The church family was extremely encouraging and their involvement in their community sparked an interest in me I decided to stick around a little longer to see if Glendale was the right fit for my family. It’s been 6 years now and I still love it. We moved to Orange County for work 7 months ago and have visited a hand full of congregations in the surrounding area but have not found one that has the amazing uplifting singing, active community participation, and amusing encouraging messages all like Glendale. The 84 mile round trip commute every Sunday is worth it.
