This is a warm cozy music venue in the downtown area! The cover charges are super affordable, with one of the shows I went to being $7! Try to go a bit earlier to catch happy hour from 4pm~7pm! It can be a bit tough to find parking in the downtown area, but towards the evening it's a lot easier.
Great local bar on the outskirts of the arts district. Love music and strong drinks makes this an awesome lil bar to experience.
Some of the best music we've heard while in town. The Iguanas were fabulous!
I want to thank Chian again for creating such a superb experience for his patrons. This was truly fantastic experience and definitely the highest level of cocktail craftsmanship I have ever experienced. We were lucky to arrive earlier, before the crowd, and had chance to talk with bartenders. They had time to go into details of they artful cocktails they were making. We have order just the first drink from the menu and the rest were made by bartender to suite our mood! If I am back to Munich again I will make sure I spend my evening at the Circle Bar. Thank you very much
Give five stars on energy and the crowd there. Place was packed. Local hangout with all ages. When I first walked in I wasn't sure about the decor, red with black ceiling and black trim. The wall behind bar I loved. Lights were dimmed. The group, Iguanas, were playing and they kept the crowd in it. It was hot because of the large crowd
They provide an excellent array of live music, DJS , and themed dance parties, my favorite of which being the Mod Parties hosted by DJ Mattie, a great DJ and overall person. I have also gotten nothing but kindness from the bar and other staff. A must go!
Post modern hipster punk synth thrash folk scene. The interior is a time capsule from my youth in the 90's. I love the feel of this place. I dig the location too. I've gone here on and off for decades and it's always a great adventure!
Awesome hole in the wall. Bartender was really nice lady and super informative about the area. This building sticks out like a sore thumb compared to everything around it. Hard to miss. A must to stop at if your in the area.
Sick little dive-y spot for live music. Staff is friendly, drinks are good. Parking can be tricky, but no more so than anywhere else in NOLA.
Right on the soon-to-be not Lee Circle. Creaky old house with a fantastic moody bar and small band space. Great place to bring a romantic partner, even if y'all are married to others.
