Amazing crab cakes!!! The food was excellent. I will definitely return. The chef personally greeted us, asked for feedback, and thanked us for stopping in.
I’m an artist who had art on display at this bar for a weekend till one of the owners Briante ripped them from the wall and lite 2 on fire in front of the business. Never met the guy, never able to get compensation, dug 9 of my pieces out of the dumpster when I walked in the following Monday to be in awe of the stark actions and disregard for a year of someone’s work.
Great place to chill. Actually, this placed saved us since we had to stay at NOLA for one more day due to cancelled flight. We relaxed, played some pool. Yes, prices for drinks were good, the food was really good. We shared a huge Seafood Disaster dish which included Peewee's crabcakes... and of course, crawfish. We even got to see how the crawfish were done!
I like this spot Small cozy playing 90s to 2000s music They have a pool table They have plenty of drinks to choose and a food menu Okay I’m updating this to a part 2 Order the food from Peewees kitchen Ordered the disaster which was enough for 2people and it was really good. Sit back and relax. Chill spot
This is really a review of pee-wee's pop-up food which is part of cbd seems like all the time: crab cakes are very good, but oysters are legit
I went here for the 1st time the other day and was highly impressed. The bartender was friendly and had some cool stories about her long vacation. Drinks were a good price and the food was good. It had good vibes going a pool table. I will definitely be going back...
The Bartender is what really makes this place! I can go into any bar in Nola for a beer but you won’t find a bartender quite like this one. I highly recommend this place. He’s super attentive, interesting, and really cool. I think he’s confused about his orange slices though.
The place was not crowded as me, and friends went during essence fest, so we were excited. You sit where there is a seat, so basically seat yourself, and order your own food at the bar. There was only waitress, and one person taking orders. Our food did take a while to come out which was unpleasing. We all got the crab cake pasta, and it was really good, only thing I didn't like was that the crawfish didn't taste right to me. Other than that if I return to NOLA it would be a place where I would eat again.
My friends and I had a lot of fun coming to the CBD Social. We loved talking to our BartenderWish I could remember her name and she gave us excellent service. It is definitely tucked away but they stay open later than most bars for those that don't sleep. Lol! Definitely recommend it.
I paid $165.00+ for VIP tickets for the Fat Tuesday "all inclusive" pass which was supposed to provide unlimited food, drinks, balcony access X 2 and bathroom access. NOT!!! It was not a VIP pass at all and the entire place was open to the public as well. SO, we did not get access to the extremely OVER CROWDED balconies, the lines to the bathrooms was literally out the door, items from the "selected" all you can eat menu ran out by 1:00 and they even ran out of Cranberry Juice for my supposed unlimited drink availability. Spoke to several other VIP Ticket holders who felt the very same way!!! Would not recommend or return to CBD Social! Sorry Chris, very disappointed!!!
