Circle Wine & Spirits

I really like the selection here of wine, cider, and liquor. They carry completely different things than Magruders, so I go to both depending on what I am looking for. This store has more regional and fine wines, and is great for trying something different or getting a special occasion wine.

Red Wine was totally off, fizzy and astringent. And expensive. Never buy here again. Adding that when you enter to the store it feels very warm/hot for wine storage. Bad place for wines

A great wine, beer, and liquor shop in DC's Chevy Chase neighborhood. Monthly "Grand Tastings" of delicious wines that can't be beat!

Used to never ID me when I was under age but I went back a few weeks ago and had a less than pleasant experience. I arrived around 8:50 knowing they closed at 9. The lady was walking out and said we cant come in their closed. I told her we were just getting a 6 pack and would be fast but the man working came out with the same response and quickly pulled the grate down behind him making it very clear they did not want our business. I will never return and make sure to share my experience with others. moral of the story, go to Magruder's or Chevy Chase wine and spirits for better prices and friendly people who want your business.

The selection here is much better than Macgruder's and other stores in the area. I was also pleased about the friendly service and prices. 5 stars from me.
