I own a landscape and lawn maintenance company and have worked with several management companies over the years and find that cities management managers work hard to stay on top of their customers needs and follow through with vendors completing their work timely. For the past year I have had the opportunity to work with manager Alexis Hart with cities management and found her to be one of the best managers to work with. She understands both the homeowner side along with the contractor sides of things and does a excellent job educating residents on operations and how and what contracts work. I believe she works very hard to get the best results for her clients and treats you very professionally and fair. I would highly recommend her and cities management for your association. Alexis truly understands how the work is suppose to be handled and has a lot of knowledge and experience with taking care of your properties.
As a board member of an association that Cities Management manages in Ramsey, MN I couldn't be happier and more pleased to work with them. I'm satisfied in the services they provide! In particular, our manager Mark Sweet is very knowledgeable with the industry in repairs, communicating to homeowners in our association and reaching out to legal / management where appropriate. A true professional and always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Cities Management. Well worth any management fees paid.
Our association has used Cities Management for a few years now and it has been a great experience from a homeowner perspective. This is the third management company we’ve used in the 13 years I’ve lived in my home and Cities is, by far, the easiest to work with. Their website is user-friendly and they respond promptly to questions and maintenance requests. Most recently I’ve communicated with Richard regarding maintenance issues and he’s always responded quickly and been able to address my concern and share next steps. I hope our association continues to work with Cities Management.
Happy with the level of service received and communication from association manager Mark Sweet @ Cities Management. Cities Management is thorough and meticulous in maintaining a schedule of routine maintenance. Its not like dues are low but maintenance is ignored or properties left to disarray. In fact, the opposite is true. All this while still paying less than $200 monthly for association dues since I moved into my house almost 15 years ago! Highly recommend their expertise on association management and constant professionalism. Great Job Cities Management
Have worked with Emily at Cities Management for several years now and am extremely satisfied. She has continuously gone above and beyond to make certain I'm kept up to date on all pertinent issues and makes certain all goes smooth. She's kept the invoicing spot on and watches out for not just her own organization's bookkeeping but has even caught errors of my own. Will never hesitate to work with Cities in the future.
I wanted to take the time to provide some feedback on Eric Carlson since he has taken over our association. Eric has been nothing but superb! When he was temporarily assigned, within two days he was out on the property with us doing our Spring walk. He didn’t have any idea it was happening yet made the time to come out and meet with myself and Another board member as we were doing the walk. He listened, took notes and really got to know both of us that day. Since then, he has continued to be very attentive, helpful, consultative and is getting a ton of things done or moving in the right direction. We actually had a board meeting in July, and we had the most attendance we have ever had. He was very good with all homeowners and answered each and every question they had. I did receive feedback from a few and they thought the meeting went very well and they are thankful we have someone like Eric who cares and is addressing all the needs of our community. Recently, he housed a working session with our two board members and took the time to walk them through the site and provided guidance of how to interact or not interact with homeowners while they are on the board. Again, very informative and helpful. It was even helpful for those that have been on the board that don’t get on the website that often. Thank you to Eric for getting us on the right track.
Review for Emily. I have lived in the association since 2003. I have been on the board of directors with all of the past 3 or 4 Association managers from a couple of management companies. Emily is the most focused and productive of all the Managers I have worked with. No matter what her work load, which at times is very great I'm sure, she always handles everything we ask of her in a very timely and professional manner. I really enjoy working with Emily and hope she continues to be our go to person for a long time. Thanks Emily. Best regards, Scott Andy Anderson
I have worked with Cities Management for many years and hold them in very high regard. They are a highly professional organization and they employ top-notch Association Managers. They are great to work with and they really take care of their associations. I would recommend them if you are looking for someone to watch your bottom line and manage your property with integrity.
I would never recommend this management company to anyone looking to buy a property managed by them. Ever. The list is too long to mention, but along with the fact that the first reviews that were 5 stars all were from vendors that work with them, let that be your guide. The management is willing to listen and address your concerns, UNLESS you ask too many questions, or when things are not done satisfactory. Then you become the problem and they become passive aggressive, rude and basically call you a liar even while sending pictures of the issues. They take a stand that the vendors are correct and the paying customer you the homeowner are not. I have managed retail and have been a customer service type professional my whole life. The first thing you learn in that role is that the customer is ALWAYS right. Anyone leaving a good review? Hasn't made any complaints or hasn't pushed the envelope and addressed issues. My guess is that if you read the poor reviews, they will all cover around the same topic. Less than satisfactory service from vendors and management not willing to address it. Don't buy in to any association using this company unless you want to pay an HOA fee and continue to most of your outside care yourself.
We are so happy we switched to Cities Management 10+ years ago. Our homes and our property are in such better shape now. And we have definitely benefitted from the knowledge and expertise provided by Cities Management and our remarkable Property Manager Mark Sweet. We are so impressed with how well he takes care of us!
