The staff was very polite and extremely helpful when we took my daughter’s sofa to be disposed of. There were several other customers there, but the line moved quickly and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend!
Only 5 bucks and the wait wasnt too bad, but the service was incredible. While dumping a couch I knocked my nice pair of glasses off and down into the gap next to the dumpster right after the last driver had left for the day. 2 of the staff, Christian and Johnny, proceeded to spend the next half hour or so lending me tools and helping me twist fence wires together to reach far enough with a magnet to fish them out. These guys saved me a $500 pair of glasses frames and deserve a raise.
Usually a good place but they closed the gates 30min early with 2 other trucks coming in behind ours. Must be to nice a day to be at work
Nice to get rid of stuff for five bucks. Ut if I get a nail in the tire it will be a bad day. For real this place looks like employees don't care about there work. The perimeter has trash inbeded in the dirt. Place needs cleaned up and a new way to flow the traffic through
I am one of the permanent drivers here every Saturday. Items we DO NOT accept are any electronics TV's, computers, etc. Large amounts of brush, any tire larger than a pickup tire. Only allowed 4 tires per Saturday. ABSOLUTELY NO TRAILERS, MOVING TRUCKS/BOX TRUCK. Signs state 3/4 ton pickup or smaller. Gates close at 3:45pm. Come prepared to wait in a line if you are not in line before the gates open at 8am. If all containers get filled up before 3:45 we will have to close early.
You can't beat the value for the service $5 per pick up truck load or $2 for a car load. Just be prepared to wait an hour or more is not uncommon in line. But kudos to Indy for proving this service as well as the tox drop opportunities around the city.
The wait is unpredicable. Sometimes 10 minutes and sometimes 2 hours, usually more on the high end. It seems to depend on how many people they have replacing the dumpsters. I would gladly pay 3x the price if they could hire enough people to lower the wait.
Only takes cash, which was really inconvenient. And our wait was mind-numbing. It’s only open on Saturday so everyone is trying to get in. We had to wait for over an hour to get through the line. However, nothing beats the price ~5$ a car for whatever you can fit in so I can’t give it less than 4 stars.
I always use this place to dump stuff. Lines can get a little long later in the day and on weekends but if you go early there isn't usually much of a weight. Staff is super friendly and very helpful for first timers and give directions in where to go and what goes where. Prices are great too: $2 per car kid or $5 per truck load. You can only make 2 trips a day and there are a lot of restricted items so make sure to check their site before you take something there that you can't dump.
Great price and the staff is great but the wait isn't worth it. Got here 5 minutes after opening and took almost 2 hours. Some of it was people sweeping their beds out and some was slow turnaround on dumpsters due to not having enough drivers. Worth the extra money to go to the landfill.
