My daughters wedding was held here this weekend. The venue is amazing! So beautiful. It was unnecessary to add a lot to this space as far as decorations and florals because the room speaks for itself. It is grand! The staff-specifically Suzanne-were helpful and attentive. The groom and bridal suites are large and well equipped. Highly recommend
Parking was no hassle. The staff and facilities were courteous and the crowd was not excessive. The first hour was fleeting and the performance was amazing. This is a wonderful venue that was a pleasure to visit.
We love our OKC Broadway tickets! The civic center makes buying, rescheduling, and attending shows so easy. We always look forward to each season and getting to see shows we love plus being introduced to one’s we’ve never seen.
Renovation when finished will be nice but in the meantime get to the drink stand and restroom early. There's only one restroom for men and the line was super long at intermission. Being an old guy, I don't like having the QR code on my phone for admission instead of a ticket. My brother in law transferred his ticket to me and I bought one for the wife online. I didn't have the software to open the transfer and had to download Adobe so the tickets were in two different places and I was anxious about entry. So, make sure you take your phone and it's charged. "Rain" was fabulous and gets 5 stars.
We had a blast watching The Nutcracker. Everyone working at the event was friendly and knowledgeable. The bar drinks were great, and the bar staff was quick.
Hadestown was great! Wife got us tickets for a date night and we had an amazing time. Bit of renovation going on but we'll maintained and great service!
This was my first visit to the music center since 1999 when I went to see the Nut Cracker. The recent renovations truly updated the place quite well!! What a delightful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The Canterbury choir was wonderful! Their performance included guest singers from OCU chamber choir plus 4 featured solo singers. And there was an angelic performance by the Canterbury youth voices chorale. All of whom where accompanied by the OKC philharmonic! The Canterbury voices have a Christmas performance scheduled for December 4th that I plan on seeing!
This was the second time to be there and loved both experiences. Very friendly people willing to help you find your seating. Very entertaining nights.
Also love seeing a show at the music hall. Make sure to allow extra time to find parking and bring cash to pay for parking.
This was my first time at this venue. Even though it is in the middle of a remodel, the staff did an incredible job of getting everyone where they needed to go in a timely and organized fashion. Even with seats toward the back, and in a packed house, our view of the stage was good. Lines for drinks and snacks were insane so we skipped it.
