Clay Oven Indian Restaurant

Great food and great service. We've purchased Dinner for Two multiple times, although anything we've ordered has tasted great. Service in the restaurant, takeout, and delivery are noticeably faster than at any other restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff and even the owner are eager to build relationships with customers and do their best to welcome repeat visitors.

I went for the lunch buffet on a weekday. It was simple with limited options. The food itself tasted okay. Do not get confused between India Clay oven and clay India oven!

Outstanding service/staff, great food. Are you considering eating here? You SHOULD eat here. I really can’t remember the time I had such great service (it’s been a while) Clay Over takes the cake!!! A++ Service that leaves me in awe. I’m seriously shook at how good the service was and I’m dying to go back so I can leave a bigger tip!

Great Indian good. We tried the hyderabadi chicken and the kali mirch lamb. Both of these dishes were very well cooked and had a great taste of Indian spices. We ordered the bread basket which is actually a steal. The cheese naan being the standout in that. The portion sizes were good. All in all an authentic Indian restaurant.

Attentive, friendly, and helpful staff, and great tasting food. They even helped to change the spiciness after the dish arrived! I'm glad West Portal has a decent Indian place in Clay Oven; I was worried that the competition was the only thing nearby.
