Cloud 9 Comics is based in Portland, OR. We specialize in collectible, vintage, and back issue comics.

Founded by Ken Dyber, Cloud 9 Comics has been a web-based vintage comic book store since 2009. As of 2015, we were joined by longtime collector Jeff Itkin (Seattle), and we now own our own brick-and-mortar storefront in Portland's SE Clinton district! Be sure to come by in person and say hello!

Cloud 9 can also be found setting up at shows in the Pacific Northwest, as well as at an increasing amount of shows in the Midwest and East coast. The staff has been very friendly and I've found a few rare old cool things there lately, including Big Numbers, a BWS and Neal Adams issue of Epic Illustrated, and some old NOW! Comics Terminators. Great selection of old and new. Also plenty of quality supplies like bags and boxes.

Most Comic or video game buyers will try for the best price they can get when buying from a customer... I can say with confidence that the gentleman at Cloud 9 gave a fair price according to the market and with explanations as to why. In a visually attractive neighborhood area, this shop is not the only place to go, but a definite must go for sure. Lots of cool issues displayed and most for sale. Thanks Cloud 9

I came here from ellensburg to stay at the best western. I went down to check it out,and I got amazing service and an awesome price on some cards. I can't wait to go back in the morning and look some more. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. Moses did a phenomenal job explaining different comics and was so patient with me being naive, asking a lot of questions, and being a general noob. I came in to buy a "first-comic" for my nephew and he was so helpful with his recommendations and explanations. I will definitely be back for the few things I found for myself and encourage everyone to come in and look around and ask questions! I guarantee you'll find something you like!

Came in first time, instantly was welcomed and helped by multiple people. Had a great Free Comic Book Day celebration and sale. I ended up not having enough for 1 of them and the sales rep gave it to me for free. Would definitely recommend and will come back. Old comics, new, they had both.

Best comic shop in Portland, hands down. I don't know where to owner finds the incredible books they always have available, but kudos to them. If you want quality comics from the Silver and Golden Age, and not just two racks of new books, you won't find better basically anywhere in Oregon.

Ken, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended House of X a great new X-Men reboot and now I'm hooked. He makes you feel welcomed, it's my new comic book spot.

10/10! I’ve been to shows and shops all over the country and I had a wonderful experience. I am a huge Harley nut and I was pleasantly surprised to find a few books that I didn’t have. The manga section was ok. Their strength is definitely in their knowledge and large selection of back issues. Their online platform is top notch too! The owner is a gem and I look forward to stopping in next time I’m in town.
