The colbun hotel is section 8 apts it's a bug and crime free building I been here 10 years
Actually visited Charlie's Bar and Grill as their Mexican food menu and variety of soups are delicious. Girlfriend and I frequently eat there as it's worth the trip.
I've been going to Charlie Brown's for Sunday breakfast for more than 20 years. I have introduced a dozen or so friends to the place and they are all regulars also. Great food always.
While visiting the bar I seen a very well vintage dressed man, he looked like he was from the 40s I ask him if he had a light and he handed me these matches. A few minutes later I asked the bar tender if he had another book of matches like these and he laughed at me and asked where I got them and I pointed at the Man that Gave them to me and he wasn't there anymore.
actually went to Charley Browns located in the hotel. Long time watering hole and restaurant. Prices have gone up fairly good amount, but still a fun place.
We've all got to rally and protect Charlie Brown's bar. These are hard times and the list of great historic Denver institutions are growing ever shorter amid the pandemic. I hope you may consider the Greek pizza as a signature dish. Big photos to the Colburn hotel and its clean rooms and friendly staff
Personally I know people that live in this Section 8 housing, the first building, that's attached to Charlie Brown restaurant. Not the second building that's been sold recently. The drawback for living here, sometimes, is since they hire people that live here, who have different mental emotional issues, that that causes them to have to live here in the first place. So, the people that did own the place, until a few days ago, would hire these people from the building that live here, and end up getting a few of them are very frustrated and angry at the world and take it out on other people or just don't get along with other people very well; but a couple of them still work at the front desk.
The Colburn is a great old hotel that's now apartments... I like to go to their restaurant while I'm there and usually they have live piano......
Pam "like the cooking spray" is very rude and in need of some additional Customer service training. DO NOT bother her durning her shift change the lobby and front desk are off limits.
Charlie Brown's is a great little piano bar with good happy hour specials, and an outdoor patio
