My sister also rent a unit there and her lock was over locked by someone. We called the owner and he called the sheriff. The sheriff came and wrote a report, which seemed like a very responsible thing to do. The owner insisted on being present and helped us with the whole process. Turned out 4 units of this storage facility as well as 2 others self storage business in the area were hit by a bunch of teenagers playing a prank on tenants over locking their locks but our unit was not broke into and nothing was stolen. The place is well kept and the sheriff himself assured us he was patrolling the property regularly at the request of the owner. Life happens no matter where you choose to take your business but we are very satisfied with how professional the staff was and how quick they acted to help us.

Place is super well located. It's right off the highway 95. Easy to find. Location is everything when you don't want to waste time. The place is a no brainer you fill your contract scan it, email it to the owner and he gives you your unit number. You can move it day or night it's entirely up to you.

Opening a contract is super easy as previous reviewer mentioned. Other than that I cannot report a positive experience. I have had unit for 10 months. At Christmas time I came to my unit to remove items. My lock had been replaced. When I called Nick, the owner he said he would call the sheriff. Evidently, several units were broken into, and the locks were changed. Hampden fire dept came and cut off the foreign lock while I went to Dysarts to purchase another lock. I came back in February to remove some items. My unit had a half inch of water throughout it. The way the units are built, the gravel driveway is higher than the units. The driveway hasn't been plowed down to the gravel regularly. As the snow has melted the water is running into the units. The owner told me it was due to all the snow we received. I have a unit at another business that has been cared for more thoroughly. I have not run into this problem elsewhere. I came back two days later to remove my things, that are now water damaged.....And I can't get into the unit. The door is frozen solid into the water that has accumulated. I went to Dysarts for rock salt. If you rent here, think your decision through carefully. Put everything on pallets, check on your stuff frequently, and use a round heavy duty lock. There is no security, it is dimly lit and the owner is young. I spoke with him about my experience. I've receive no reimbursement.
