Cold Stone Creamery

Cold stone was a favorite of mine many years ago. I would travel from a neighboring town for the great ice cream. I placed the order online and I had the option to order from Hoboken or North Bergen. Since I’ve had great experiences with Hoboken I figured I take the 20 min drive. Once I completed the order it said the cake wouldn’t be done until 1:45. I needed the cake by none. I called over TEN times. Most times the phone just rang. I spoke to someone who barely understood what I was saying. I explained what I needed, and he asked for my number and said someone would call me back. I didn’t want to leave my number. People never call back when they say they will. It’s just a ploy to get you off the phone. So, he said call back in 5- 10 so I can speak to the manager. I called back in 20. He said the manager was available to call back again. I called several times and it just rang. He finally picks up the phone after another 2-3 call. I asked to speak to the manager and he says to call back after ten! I call the next day soon as they open. She says my cake CAN NOT be done any sooner. I say no problem I’ll cancel and go to the cold stone in North Bergen. They said they can’t. Long story short don’t go there. The place as gone DRASTICALLY down hill. Customer service isn’t even I thing at the location. I will NOT be back. The place also needs a deep cleaning BADLY!! The cake also looks like a toddler wrote on it

I went to this coldstone about two weeks ago with my husband. I grew up around cold stone and having moved from my hometown, i crave it all the time. Decided to spend the money on a pint of chocolate devotion so I wouldn’t have to make the 30+ minute drive from my house. Just to come home and find out they mixed coconut shavings and some sort of nut into my ice cream. I am allergic to nuts . Should’ve known it was going to be a disaster when I walked in and the floor was disgustingly dirty and so was their stone & work area. Unbelievable.

Went to this place after a lot of reviews but personally I did not like the place. We took the banana caramel crunch small cup to try it out and it was not good. The ice cream was overpowered with the taste of the banana. I had to wait till the penultimate bite to actually taste the caramel and the vanilla flavor. Above this the ice cream is ridiculously expensive, the small cup costed something around $8-9 which is really on the high end, which I wouldn't mind if had the same quality. The shop itself was not well maintained and definitely they need to keep the shop clean. Thet had a small outdoor seating area as well. Overall an okay place wouldn't sweat it out to reach here only to have an ice cream.

I placed an order for a cake pick up at 4:30 and arrived at 4:20. They told me they would not be able to give me the cake until 4:30. So they left my ice cream outside of the freezer for the time the made me wait. The place is also very dirty.

The guy working here when I came in was so nice and made our ice creams just how we wanted them. A lot of cold stone locations they will just roughly mix in the toppings, but he put his whole back into making our ice creams. I mean he completely mixed them into new flavors - it was delicious. He deserves a raise for making the best cold stone ice cream I’ve ever had!!!!

If you have TMJ, avoid going here. If you have dentures or teeth sensitivity, also avoid going here. If you like crunchy, freezer burnt ice cream, this is your place! I also asked for a waffle cup three times and I did not get it lol

This has the most horrible customer service… I have a life threatening allergy with eggs and in-spite of giving them clear instructions on not add the toppings containing eggs they have always sent me the icecream containing brownies and other toppings. Their store manager is never available to talk. Horrible service they don’t seem to take allergies seriously.

This branch of Cold Stone Creamery at Hoboken is a good place. A really nice neighborhood and also a must visit neighborhood in the area for the weekend. Very great crowd. Now this place in particular is a well maintained and clean place. Serves good ice creams. Staff is friendly. Only thing they lack is the service. They take a lot of time to serve a normal number of orders. They can improve there. Otherwise a great place.

Ordered delivery twice, and both times it after waiting longer than an hour It was cancelled by drivers because they said 'it can't be fulfilled". Which means that CSC was probably just not making the delivery orders. Really great service...

Do have few eggless options. Asides from their ice-cream, we tried their shake you could customize it - it was awesome! If you don’t like thick shake, make sure you mention that in advance while the person is preparing the shake.
