Carlo's Bakery

Well, being an avid viewer of the baking channel, we had to go to Carlo’s Bake Shop. It was lovely inside as you can see from the photos. Everything looked Delicious! Unfortunately, we were stuffed from eating so we only ate one pastry but it did not disappoint. It was generously filled with a great yellow cream. The staff was friendly and good salespeople. They pushed selling cake boss merchandise. It definitely was worth visiting Carlo’s Bakery.

Totally worth all the fame! This place is neat and has an amazing array of cakes on display. We have had cakes from here a couple of times and enjoyed every one of them. We recently had the red velvet cake and chocolate cannoli, both were fresh and yummy! Their cream is unique and has a cheesecake like texture and flavor. A perfect balance of sweetness with a hint of sour. Highly recommend this place.

We watched the show for forever so actually being able to make it here was really something special for us to do. Employees are super helpful and patient as she explained everything they have for sale and genuinely wanted to see us happy with our experience. We bought a cake from the display and they had no problem writing a happy birthday message on it for us. Super fun experience. Oh the cakes are super delicious and the cannoli are out of this world! Prices are a little higher then average but where else can you get cake boss cakes! You just gotta go to experience this place!

Such a lovely bakery and delicious cakes. We had a pecan pastry which was incredible and what was even better was the cup of English tea they made! It was so good and the best we had in America.

Well, for starters this place is definitely clean and looks quite inviting when you step in. The staff is cordial and helpful. Got the chocolate cupcakes and a caramel latte and honestly I liked the coffee better than the cupcakes they were super sweet for my taste. Would want to come back and try their cakes next time.

Bought cannolis, Were OK. Had the rainbow cake: hard pass. Sponges were flavorless, butter cream was too sweet. Tasted like amateur hour at the bakery. Maybe my expectations were too high given all the publicity.

The bakery is a tourist attraction. Was expecting a different vibe. But I am a big fan! Love watching cake boss on tv. Cakes were very tasty. Definitely try the lobster tails and cannelloni. Yummi!!

I came for the experience, for the name it made throughout the tv networks. And that’s all we got! There are no seats or tables. The staff was nice and explained me the different treats, the pastries looked nice but way overpriced. We got 5 pastries for $55. And at too much and we had to go elsewhere to eat them.

Seen Cake Boss several times and always saw this bakery. Had to check it out! Took the path from NYC to Hoboken and it was a smooth ride. Walked to the bakery which was 5 -10 minutes away very easy to find. When we first got there no one was there. I was expecting to see a line but when we went in they had there cutout board with the Cake boss and tons of sweets that looked amazing! We definitely got a canoli and Chocolate and Strawberry short cakes. There is a bench outside so we sat there and enjoyed it. The Cake was amazing!!! And now I know why he’s the cake boss!!! The canoli was perfect. All of a sudden we saw a rush and of people arrive and it was a steady flow so k think we just missed rush hour. After we walked down to the waterfront with a beautiful park and views of NYC! You must try this bakery they live up to the hype!!!
