Colonial Room Restaurant

For the price it was what I expected. Just think Plain Jane and functional if you are considering a motel room here. It was clean, and all of the essentials are there. The restaurant is average. It has been here for a very long time and was recently remodeled, they've done a good job with that. If you are a Trail Rider I would certainly recommend this place it is cheap enough and there is plenty of parking even if you have a trailer.

This is one step above the average eatery in this area. Everything we ate, where, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, BLT, all were made fresh. Country cooking for sure. Outstanding hush puppies. We ate too much to try dessert, but we will return to check out more menu items.

I'm from Champaign Illinois and doing some construction in Welch. I stopped today and got a room for the weekend and was told by the owner to try the restaurant and bar out. It was excellent. In my opinion food was five stars along with the motel. Rooms are kept so clean and updated. Great for familys on a getaway trip or if your just passing through for work. I highly recommend colonial room and everything connected to it.
