I absolutely loved going to school here. I have made so many life long friendships and even met my husband here! Not only that, but I am friends with the professors here and still keep in touch with them. They have a fantastic missions department where students can lead trips across the world to share the Gospel. The campus looks nothing like what it did when I first started going there but it’s exciting to go back and see all the changes and upgrades they have.
Ccu has a fantastic location right between the city of Denver and the mountains. There is always something exciting to do! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I took one class here and it might be the biggest mistake I have made when it comes to any higher education. I'm no going to draw this out and give a long story because the problem is very straight forward. When I started taking my class here I did so because the transfer counselor that I worked with told me I would be able to qualify for their accelerated nursing program. When I was already taking my first class and enrolled, my academic advisor told me that I wouldn't be able to begin the program within the allotted time. Fine. In short, the person who got me enrolled and starting classes made no effort to see if I would ACTUALLY be able to start the program within the allotted time. That was the first problem I encountered... the next problem was, after I had payed for the class and the semester had ended, I started to get calls and emails from CCU saying that I owed them for the previous semester. After this I contacted the school and asked them to clarify this.. since then I haven't even heard back from them. I have been getting phone calls from an automated line connected to CCU that is asking me to pay, when I have a paper trail that shows the funds were covered by financial aid. I still haven't heard back from them and do not know the status of this problem.

It's extremely difficult to order transcripts, especially as a dual enrollment student. I have been trying to get into my account to order a transcript all week, however I have had no luck logging in nor requesting a new password to the email which I originally registered.
In addition, I have called repeatedly and nobody has been able to help me, with out of office reports half the time and phones going to voicemail the other half. Even when I called the main office and selected to be redirected to the office dealing with transcripts, the man who answered told me I had called the wrong department! He further directed my call to another office where it proceeded to go to voicemail.
I am running VERY short on time with getting my transcript sent to college and I would happily improve this rating if the problem is solved quickly.

Some great professors, but the administration is diabolical. Purging tenure and taking on adjuncts to rake in the profit. I took a philosophy class and they assigned it to an adjunct who teaches a full course load at Red Rocks CC. The worst class I have ever taken, and I am still paying for it. They charge 10x what a community college charges, yet employ the same professors, and pay them scraps. Also, they confuse faithful Christianity with political fundamentalism to a startling degree, trading academic integrity for profit margins and narrow-minded, insulated, political idealism. Pandering sure is an effective fund raising tool. I die a little inside every month when I have to pay my student loans, knowing where that money went and what I got for it. Find another school. Any other school.

This school is by far one of the best colleges in academics, integrating the Christian faith, and community! Yes, monetarily it was a sacrifice to send our kids here, but the education and experience is priceless. I felt so confident and grateful when leaving my young adults to be educated and taken care of at Colorado Christian University and it hasn’t disappointed!
