I went to this school sense preschool and I have noticed a lot of changes and most of them are good some being teachers leaving and also new principals. I think that this school is an amazing school and the teaching is way ahead of other schools because of how good the teachers are at teaching. I have seen friends mature and also learn about the lord Jesus Christ. I have been blessed by this school and I highly encourage anyone who can to go there.
Sincerely,
Jace

I was a student from Southeast that went to Southeast since preschool, was held back in 1st grade, and also met his favorite teachers ever. I am Samuel Jensen who graduated from 8th grade this year. This school used to be a great school. From what I saw and experienced from my leadership class is that the Elementary in the 2017 and 2018 year is good but the middle school is mediocre at best. The curriculum was good and the teachers were good as well. But the administrations leading the the school is leading the school in the wrong way. Change is necessary as emphasized by the school, but it is not always for the better. The Headmaster accused the kids that were talking in chapel that they "might not follow God" and even the kids who weren't talking still got accused for not telling other kids to be quiet. They shouldn't have been talking, but that doesn't mean they don't follow God and accusing them of that was extremely rude and un-called for. That was one of the first signs of many that lead me to believe that the future years it was not gonna be a good year. Three of my favorite teachers left the school because it was in the "red" for money. The other was kicked from the school. She has said so herself. And 1 of those two was one out of the 8 that is leaving this year. I do believe that God is leading this school in the direction he wants, but it is not the way the administration is expecting it to. I also believe that he can perform a miracle and change the school from its ways. I think that the changes That will be coming will demolish it as well but only time will tell.

I am a former student of Southeast Christian School and my name is Nico Spagnola. There will undoubtedly be people who say this is a fake review to silence the opinions of those with whom they disagree, but you can ask any of the teachers or staff that were there when I was and they'll be able to confirm that I was indeed a real student. I am extremely disappointed with this school and it's direction in the 2017-2018 year. I have every reason to like this school, in my first years there, it pulled me out of a dark and sad time in my life and showed me true character. I didn't have any reason to dislike this school I LOVED this school and it was the best I'd ever been to and it meant the world to me, but it has SPAT on its unflinching legacy! While the elementary portion still seems decent, the middle school is a complete mess. If you are planning to enroll your kid in the middle school DONT! The administration has become incredibly corrupt after firing one of the BEST principles EVER (Mr. King). The new principle, on multiple occasions, has shown her true colors. They like to hide behind deceptive barriers and they use the fact that its a Christian school to trick people into thinking their actions are okay, meanwhile perverting the Word of God to suit their decisions and try and force people to do agree with them. Their sort of behavior is what makes people TURN AWAY from God! It's disgusting. One of the best teachers in the middle school kicked out because of the principle's personal bias against her and her teaching style, and then the rest of the staff covered for her like they had no integrity! The rest of the staff, definitely knowing better, continued to defend her actions and decisions and try to justify her awful choices. The only reason the school gets away with stuff like this is because they can say to the parents and students that it's "all for God" and pretend like what they are doing is what God would want, but he is probably scoffing in disappointment at what they are doing with His Word. As Lawrence of Arabia once said, "Man makes plans and God laughs". This is just one example, and you'll probably see more examples mentioned in other reviews. Overall, this is really disappointing for me to say, because this was the best school I've been to... WAS the best. I hope that this school can be turned around, maybe God can influence their leadership, I don't know, but I really WOULD NOT recommend this school if you sending your kid their middle school. Even elementary might not be a good decision, because if you keep sending them there, your kid will get pulled into the mess of middle school too. Without some drastic changes, I don't think the school will be able to thrive more than five years before people realize what is going on.

About 15 months ago, our family moved from India to the United States. As a mother of a four year old and a five year old, I was most concerned about our children's responses to this life changing experience. South East Christian School not only became the safe haven that deeply nurtured the academic and spiritual growth of my children, but this school also provided a strong community that gave me the most peace about this transitional phase of our lives. I am eternally grateful for every teacher and staff member here!

Our children have attended southeast christian school for 6 years now. Our children look forward to going to school every day. The teachers truly care about them and share Christ's love in all they do. They have also recieved an excellent education scoring 1-2 grade levels above their grade on national testing.
