The Center for Women’s Reproductive Care (the CWRC) is a group practice staffed by full-time faculty of Columbia University in New York City. At the CWRC, we are committed to helping patients find ways to achieve pregnancy. In fulfilling this objective, we strive to provide patients with the best possible clinical care and related support services. Advanced infertility care at CWRC involves an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, embryologists, and administrative, billing, reception, and support staff, all of whom are committed to our philosophy of care. Our team approach allows for consistent high-quality care as well as the benefits of collaboration and shared research. These attributes have made us one of the largest, longest-standing, and most successful infertility centers in New York and in the nation. Expanded financial access to services is made possible through our various managed care contacts, patient financing, and participation in the New York State Department of Health Infertility Demonstration Program.
Our fertility clinic helps women and couples who are trying to conceive, and specializes in both basic treatment methods, such as Clomid cycles, male factor infertility, and artificial insemination (IUI), as well as more advanced forms of treatment ,including in vitro fertilization (IVF) and frozen embryo transfer (FET). We perform preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and work to treat a number of conditions such as endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). The Center also specializes in challenging cases and is known to accept patients whose prognosis for success is low.
Here’s why Columbia University Fertility offers advantages that can only come from the fertility center of Columbia University Irving Medical Center:
Innovators: Our physicians are pioneers in the field of reproductive medicine. As faculty members of CUIMC, one of the foremost research and teaching centers in the world, our doctors are on the cutting edge of reproductive knowledge, technological advancements, and clinical applications. Led by experts in reproductive medicine including Division Chief Dr. Zev Williams, their work goes beyond the sole application of new reproductive technology to reach the frontlines of advancing research and knowledge in the practice of fertility treatment and care.
Accessible Care: Our network of insurance contracts and other financing options help you keep your costs as low as possible and make fertility care more accessible. We are one of the few fertility centers in the US that accepts in-network manager care insurance for in vitro fertilization. Columbia University Fertility also participates in the New York State Department of Health Infertility Demonstration Program, which provides financial assistance for those who qualify.
Specialized Services: We treat a range of fertility issues, from common barriers to the most complex cases. Our physicians have successfully treated many patients who were turned away by other fertility centers. We also offer programs for those with specific complications, such as cancer and HIV.
Convenient Locations: Our two locations, in Manhattan’s Columbus Circle and Westchester, give you more appointment options and help minimize wait times.
