Bio: My experience and education is in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Food and Nutrition, and Yoga. I’m licensed in Acupuncture in the state of Ohio. I graduated from American Institute for Alternative Medicine in June 2013 with a Master’s level degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2012 I traveled to Beijing Hospital for Western and Integrative Medicine in Beijing, China and received advanced training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2007 I earned a Masters degree in Herbal Medicine from Maryland University for Integrative Medicine. I have been Nationally certified as a Nutritional Specialist by the American College of Nutrition since 2007. I have been an instructor at Columbus Community College in the Nursing department since 2007 teaching Holistic Healing Methods, Herbology and Homeopathy.
Offering: At the Columbus Acupuncture clinic I offer Acupuncture, Nutritional therapy (from the Traditional Chinese Medical perspective), Nutritional Supplements, supplemental traditional Chinese healing practices. These practices include Cupping therapy, Moxibustion therapy and Tui Na (Chinese therapeutic massage). In any given individual session I may provide education in Western Herbal Medicine and Nutrition. From time to time classes in Western Herbal Medicine will be offered as intensives.
