Great hidden gem, they have a fantastic beer selection, the food is on point and you order from your table for food. It makes it very easy and will definitely be a returning customer. This location is pet friendly and was not too crowded when I was there on a Monday evening. There's plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating if that's your style. It looks like they have a back room that you can reserve for private gatherings but not 100% sure on that one.
If you're looking for a constant rotation of some of the most unique beers while still maintaining a homage to the classic beers you love, then Commonwealth Brewery is for you. Their fire oven pizza are nothing but top tier brewery cuisine. Original and fresh ideas and welcoming atmosphere make this place one excellent stop for locals as well as vacationers. Couldn't recommend this place more!
Last time we came they didn't have food there. Now they do. I took the green veggie pizza with brussel sprouts... OMG!!! One of the best pizzas I've ever had. I feel like I'm gonna dream about it! And I'm from a place near Italy... Just saying The beer is super good too and awesome staff!!! The place is super nice as well. They added seating areas outside and tables on the back. The outdoor area is huge now! Beautiful!!!
A truly must-visit when in the area. One of my favourites amongst favs. Amazing hoppy fare and a ton of other variety/selection. Something for everyone. Servers know the brews and always have great suggestions. Mixed 4-packs TO GO is a massive bonus for those out-of-towners wanting to try as many as possible.
It was crazy busy inside and out. A band was performing inside. They were really churning out the food and it looked and smelled wonderful. We had a great time for a surprise birthday party. Parking is difficult but we parked down the street.
Can’t really complain much about our experience here. The beers were good; though each of the stouts were much stronger flavorful? than I’d say would be considered normal. It was like drinking ice cream without the cream. Definitely not what we’re used to; but different strokes for different folks. The Dunkleweiss was pretty smooth, as was the Pilsner Lager. The pretzel and beer mustard were good; but the beer cheese… I don’t know. There was something off about the consistency I don’t think any of us have ever experienced before. It’s hard to put into words. Gritty, maybe? The fantastic beer mustard made up for it. The double fried wings don’t slap like the ones you’d find at a Korean restaurant; but they are still pretty good. The ranch is on point. The main reason this establishment doesn’t earn five stars is for the lack of adequate noise abatement. We were yelling to hear each other about 90% of the time on a relatively slow night based on Google Maps’ “slower than usual” standards. A little sound dampening would go a long way in a brewery/restaurant with few, if any, soft surfaces. If this establishment would fix that one glaring issue, this would become our regular weekend go-to. Until then…
Everything about our experience at CWB was excellent. If you are lover of IPAs, like I am, make sure you get here ASAP. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food options are available as well. The was amazing.
A great Brewery that you can share the experience with freinds, family and Fur Family! They also have an awesome fire oven cooked pizzas and other great food there. Pups name is Oni so had to get "The Oni One pizza" it was delicious and would definitely get again! If you do bring a Pup I'd suggest you bring something for them to lay on.
Awesome place for a wide variety of brews on tap! Great help with choices of beers!
Visited last weekend and the atmosphere, beer, and pizza was amazing. Coming from Texas I am always interested in great craft beers. Commonwealth did not disappoint, it is quite literally the best beer my wife and I had ever had. There was nothing we tasted that wasn’t delicious. I can’t wait to come back and will very soon because the trip was well worth it. This place is worthy to be considered a destination from this Texan.
