Wasserhund Brewing Company, meaning "water dog" in German, was born from a love of the beach, dogs, and German beer. We aspire to bring the German beer culture to Virginia Beach in the best way... by brewing the highest quality ales and lagers and providing the environment to enjoy them with family, friends, and strangers.

We also match our beer with artisan pizza made to order in our brick oven. Or you can order Richmond made sausages and add some sauerkraut for a real German experience.

Call it whatever you want... we call it German style brewing with a Beach kick. Really, it's great beer and great times.

First time visit to a great micro brewery in Virginia Beach. German beers, Germania food. Excellent fruit beers. Plenty of seating. A little hard to find. Well worth a visit.
The pizza is always amazing! I haven't had one I didn't like. I don't like beer in general, but my husband says the beers here are delicious. And try their Sunday brunch! Bring your dog, sit outside - they have water dishes for them.
Continuing on with our VA Beach brewery hop. 1st for the daybwas Wasserhund. Loving all the German style beers on tap. Though the orange honeysuckle saison was the winner. Also, the pizza was straight .
These folks are hustling to provide the best service they can on short staff - bravo! GREAT place for a salad surprisingly enough - and of course, quality beer and pizza ;
We hosted my daughter's wedding rehearsal party at the brewery and it could not have been any better! Christine and her staff are top notch! The food was outstanding, the beer selection is superb and the service we received was the best! It was a night to remember and just what the bride and groom wanted before their big day!
