I had such a great experience with Daniel at Computer Lift! My Macbook died quite suddenly and of course I hadn't backed anything up in over a year. The Apple store couldn't do anything and recommended I take it to Computer Lift. When I called to make an appointment Daniel explained his services and the process so I knew what to expect. He kept me informed with the progress as he worked on recovering my data. In the end he recovered all of my files and charged a very reasonable price. Overall great service, very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease in a stressful situation.

Daniel is my "go to" tech guy when it comes to my computer. I am a commercial real estate investment broker, and my livelihood is technology dependent. I first worked with Daniel earlier this year when I need to purchase a new lap top for my office and PC for my home. Daniel provided timely advice on what to look for when purchasing,and them set everything up for me. He is incredibility knowledgeable and quick. A couple of weeks ago I was having problems with my home HP printer, which was independently taking itself "offline". After fiddling with it myself, spending time on a phone call to HP tech support, who could get it going--but then it would take itself off line again, I called Daniel. I was able to schedule a remote online session with him the next morning. Within a few minutes Daniel had diagnosed the issue, and got the printer working once again. And it continues to work. I know Daniel is always available if I need his help, and will get to a solution quickly. I give him my highest recommendation--besides, he is a really nice person to work with.

Daniel was super helpful in fixing my laptop issues. He came by my house at no charge to take a look at what was wrong and let me know exactly how he could fix it, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He kept in contact throughout the process and returned my laptops to me working like new. Very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend Computer Lift!

My wife and I moved from the Boston area last year and left behind a nearby computer guru and our electrical engineer son who both kept us computer illiterates on safe ground. In Portland I looked through computer shops on-line and was impressed with reviews for Daniel's work. He has helped me 3 or 4 times in the past 6 months with excellent results. Daniel is usually available within 1-2 hours after my call and may solve the problem by phone or accessing my screen remotely. He works quickly and efficiently when I go to his office and explains things clearly. His fees are very reasonable and he always follows up by e-mail to learn if the computer is working well. Daniel always takes a personal interest in how my laptop and I are doing. I don't have the words to praise him enough.

The personalized service was extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated the professionalism of Daniel and the way he kept me abreast of the progress of my repair. He drove TO me to pick up and drop off MY computer! I felt treated like a person not just another customer, and on top of it all, the pricing was extremely fair and- in my situation- was dependent on the success of the repair. Daniel was able to retrieve my data from a crashed HD, and all of the files were intact. He was able to do it the same day I brought in my laptop. His cost for doing the work was very reasonable. I would definitely use Daniel for any future issues. He was a pleasure to work with.
