File Savers Data Recovery

If you aren't willing to leave a 5 star review no matter how bad of a job they did then you are in for a lot of phone calls and texts. My experience with File Savers was bad. I wanted to chalk up some of the issues to just lack of staffing during the pandemic. This is more than that though. They charged an arm and a leg. 2k and they saved 15% of our data. When they handed the drive off to us they said they had recovered around 50-60% of the data. We started by getting an update every 4 or 6 hours. Then they went 3 days with NO word what so ever and when I called just to check in I had to talk to 3 different people to be told condescendingly that it will take time. This data was very important to us and I know that data isn't always recoverable. I didn't want to leave a bad review for things that could be one offs. I also couldn't bring myself to leave a positive review for a process that was nightmarish for my partner and me. So I just didn't leave a review. NOW. I get constant phone calls and text messages from Brent to leave a 5 star review. Enough calls and texts that it qualifies as harassment. I now feel compelled to leave this review if for nothing else to warn people that any 5 star reviews may be compelled through harassment and force.

Worked with the team at File Savers to recover a hard drive my local repair shop couldn't save...in the end they recovered everything! For the extensive work my problem needed, I feel they were fairly priced, thorough and great at keeping in touch for updates all along the process. Would definitely recommend/go to again if it's ever needed

We had a RAID5 array go belly up with some important databases on it for a small business. I tried to do all the normal recovery options available until I ran into a dead end. I called FileSavers and they said they would see what they could recover from the dead drives and the one remaining drive. They stayed in communication throughout the process, and gave a realistic and accurate cost. We were able to get back the data we needed and were very impressed with the timeline and outcome.

The folks I dealt with were all very helpful and honest. They were clear about the process, the pricing, and the timeline. I appreciated understand where my drive was being sent Montana and having a dedicated point of contact. And…i wish my doctors had been as good delivering bad news as they were. The drive was much more mangled than I thought. Only lesson learned - send the drive to them at the first sign of trouble.

File Savers recovered all data from my old hard drive quickly and securely. They were available via phone to talk me through the process and show me where to find my files. Would recommend!

I lost all my files when my external hard drive failed. File Savers worked quickly and efficiently in getting the files recovered, put on a new drive and sent back to me. I even got access to files on a partition of the drive I hadn't been able to access for a while because of how it was formatted. They were friendly and professional and quick.

A server hard drive crashed, and I did not have the knowledge to be able to recover the data. Fortunately, the technicians at File Savers were able to recover the data and provided great customer service and saved the day!

I was asked to assist in the recovery of a photographer’s portfolio, lost due to a hard drive failure. After trying to recover the files through other means I turned to File Savers for assistance. Recovery was successful and service was prompt. Although the fee was substantial, I found it to be acceptable given the alternative loss of this person’s work portfolio. I would not hesitate to use File Savers again if faced with a similar circumstance.

After a faulty DIY home repair that my spouse attempted on my desktop computer, all my computer's drives became unreadable. I was frantic! All my photographs and other important documentation over the years had been stored on them. I contacted File Savers and within a week the problematic drives were received, the issue was diagnosed, a price quoted, and the content on those drives was recovered. File Savers sent me back an external drive. I worked with one technician the whole time, which was very nice. Thank you File Savers. Now I back up to the cloud.

File Savers did a great job of taking my hard drive in for analysis and then escalating it to their professional recovery center. File Savers was great to work with and I will again.
